While I normally go to the shop located across the way for all of my children's ao dai needs, this…read morerecent visit consisted of my purchases being made strictly with Moons Fashion. Here you will find a large variety of traditional Vietnamese clothes- offering options for both male and female. Purchasing here is ideal if you are looking into coordinating + matching as a group effort because there are sizes to fit people of all shapes and sizes within your party. The staff is really good at giving you their size recommendations. With this being their bread and butter, a quick glance up and down will conclude with a spot on size estimate. Prices are reasonable. If you are planning to buy multiple sets, don't be shy to ask if there are any discounts that may apply. Never hurts to try, right?? 5/5 Stars. We walked away with 4 outfits. The customer service was great and the owner is so helpful in working hard to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. I will absolutely be back. Until next time, Moons Fashion.

They had ao dai and ao ba ba for all ages as well as Chinese outfits. The workers here were very friendly and weren't pushy. I also got my grandma a warm top/bottom set and warm pants that had fleece lining ($10). The prices were fair. They let you try on the ao dai at the store. They had heels for you to borrow to try on with your ao dai if you wanted to get the full look. They gave us a dangling Chinese charm to add to the boy's ao dai for a fancier look. They had northern style ao dais as well and the headdresses. The bad: My mom tried haggling and getting a better deal for buying a larger quantity but they weren't for it. The interesting: I saw that Asian Garden Mall (Phuoc, Loc, Tho) had two Moon Fashions. I went to the downstairs one in the back left but I saw there was also one on the 2nd floor toward the front.

What. Seriously, read that whole thing all over again and let her ao dai sorcery sink in. Y'all, this was back in 2012, too. Her creative and intuitive designs are also incredibly flattering. Of note, take her advice and a) do not go to a buffet before the official measuring and b) wear those 4" heels. They do make your legs look longer. Bottom line: Her meticulous attention to detail, creativity, passion and professionalism make her a pleasure to work with and will make you feel red carpet ready on your special day.

We really lucked out finding Thanh Trang Áo Dài at the Asian Garden Mall in Westminster!…read more I usually order our áo dài outfits from Etsy, but we needed something for my cousin's wedding, and I wasn't sure what sizes to order for my kids since they had grown. We figured we'd check out the Asian Garden Mall for convenience, even though I knew we could probably find better deals elsewhere. I'm so glad we stopped here! We ended up getting beautiful, good-quality áo dài outfits for myself, my son, and my daughter. My husband already had his outfit, and luckily, his size hadn't changed, so we didn't need to get him anything new. What really impressed me was the customer service. The lady helping us had a great eye for style and picked out some beautiful outfits for the kids. She was patient, helpful, and made the entire experience comfortable. One thing I especially appreciated was that she never made me feel uncomfortable about my body size. Unfortunately, I've experienced that at other clothing shops, especially when shopping for traditional Asian clothing. Here, I felt completely comfortable trying things on and trusting her recommendations. Another HUGE plus is that alterations are included in the price! She even threw in an extra pair of pants because she thought the color matched better. It's those little things that make a difference. She's also willing to negotiate on pricing, which I appreciated since we were buying multiple outfits. She offered to have our alterations finished the same day, but we weren't in a rush, so we arranged to pick everything up a couple of days later. Everything was ready, and pickup was super easy. While we were shopping, I noticed quite a few customers coming back to pick up their outfits. That was reassuring because it was obvious she had plenty of returning customers. There are several shops selling áo dài in the area, but I'm really happy we chose this one. Between the quality, included alterations, helpful styling advice, and friendly service, it was worth it. And most importantly, we all looked great at the wedding! If you're shopping for Vietnamese traditional clothing for a wedding, Lunar New Year, or another special occasion, I highly recommend checking out Thanh Trang Áo Dài! I was so excited to have my ao dai made by a famous designer, but was treated so poorly with no respect. He continuously lied about getting my wedding so dai done in time for my wedding. His workers kept making excuses for him, that's he out of town, the dress was almost done, etc. The ao dai pants were made in the wrong color! The stress of it all right before my wedding was too much! At my fitting, he had the audacity to purposely stop and stand on top of the long train of my so dai while smirking in my face. Do yourself a favor and get it made somewhere else by honest designers who treat their customers with respect and appreciation. This childish man is a bully and is so unprofessional.
