My first of hopefully many visits to Sierra Valley Chiropractic was excellent. Not many of us realize just how much we need an "adjustment" in our lives. Trust me, this is the place to start. I was greeted immediately by Heidi, one of the owners and doctors. Apparently they were between front desk staff at the time of my visit, but she was very accomodating. She listened to me explain my issues and gave me an amazing spinal and neck adjustment, all while also popping out twice to check in other customers. Immediately following the adjustment was my massage. I already forget the gentleman's name (I'm bad about that), but I won't forget the relief he provided in the form of deep tissue relaxation and a real awareness of where my issues (mainly neck) originated. After one visit, I felt refreshed and already much better than before and I look forward to another visit again next month. If you aren't sure if either a massage or a traditional chiropractic adjustment are what you are looking for, go for both. The chiro for most is covered by insurance and the massage is well worth the reasonable price (mine was $70). Your body will thank you! read more

Izzat Aljumaie the Massage Therapist does a great job with the messages and Dr. Heidi Jones, DC does a great job with treating your back! I would highly recommend this chiropractor. read more

Dr. Heidi is fantastic! My family and I have been visiting Sierra Valley for several years for either regular adjustments or emergency visits related to back pain. read more

I've been coming to SVC on the recommendation of a friend and it's been a wonderful 4.5 years later! I started coming when I was having pain from running and although I've had different things come up, I know I'll be taken care of here. Staff are nice and helpful. Heidi and Ben are great and truly listen to you and want your body to feel and be better. I used to see Izzat who is wonderful! But my main massage therapist is Kimmie, who is just the sweetest human being ever! She truly listens, empathizes, and beats my body up in the best of ways! Haha. Also just love being able to chat about all sorts of things and at the same time can relax and enjoy my massage. Paying $70 for an hour massage is such a great deal and I truly enjoy the myofascial massages. read more

I have been a patient for about 7 months now. It has taken me years to find a great chiropractor who provides options of treatment. I prefer some adjustments done via the activator method. So it's great to be able to find someone who can do this. The office staff are great and the space is clean and welcoming. I am very forward to find a great experience close to home! read more

To be very up front, as a potential new patient, this has not been a great experience for me trying to get an appointment booked. For starters, in the submission form, I noted "phone" as the best means of contact but you went with email. Second, after at little understandable back and forth and determining that I'll be using my Kaiser insurance for this visit, you naturally told me your doctor that takes Kaiser is only in on certain days. I then asked for some specific availability of said doctor which was provided only to then be told that is not the availability of that doctor. Your operations appear to be disorganized and that makes for a less than stellar new patient experience. I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

Heidi and Ben are the best! Prior to meeting Heidi 10 years ago, there were days that I was unable to drive and walk. She also keeps my plantar fasciitis under control with her manipulations. She is not only smart and competent, but compassionate and personable. Can't say enough good things about her! Definitely, deserves 5stars! read more

Review is for massage therapist, Taylor. OH MY. Best massage I have ever had. She really gets in there and works the knots out. I had a gift certificate for the massage but will now be a regular since she is so amazing. read more

Dr. Ben is amazing!!! I really messed my neck up like a month into COVID I was nervous I wasn't going to be able to be seen but they got me right in and as a new patient. I used my Kaiser insurance and everything to verify was super fast! I had 2 back to back sessions with Dr. Ben he did an adjustment and some ice therapy. Then I was back to my regular movement in my neck. I recent have been getting migraines but from the back of my head/neck and headaches everyday. My primary couldn't really figure out the cause or how to settle them. So I went to Dr. Ben today and he is AH-MAZING!!!!! Great at listening to my issues and knows exactly what to do. Today he stretched my neck and gave me an adjustment - I haven't had a headache all day. Such a great feeling. read more

Dr. Ben Jones was super helpful with my recent neck pain and walking me through some aches and pains I have had recently. He's very professional and I would highly recommend him or his wife for any chiropractor needs! read more

Owned by a husband-wife team, this practice is wonderful. Who knew how complicated it can be to find a good chiropractor? One wanted me to practically submit myself to an FBI investigation and sign my life away to arbitration before they would treat me. Another blocked the call from my state number. One highly-rated-Yelp guy refused to see anyone coming from another practioner. OK, I admit I am cranky, but I have a wickedly sore neck and shoulder. I lucked out by getting a referral to Sierra Valley from a co-worker, after she stopped teasing me about my having to turn my whole body in order to look at someone. Ben and Heidi are absolutely wonderful. The first thing they'll tell you is that they don't expect you to keep coming; they'll treat you until the problem gets better. They are friendly, open, gentle and all of those important things. Heidi's mom is the receptionist and the whole place has that great vibe that comes from people who are can-do because they're invested in the success of the business and making their clients feel OK. But the most important thing to me is that they do more than adjustments. They massage, work on muscle range of motion, apply heat. They didn't even try to adjust my neck until the second week or so, after things had calmed down. They have great massage therapists and boy, was I thrilled to find out they can bill massages through your insurance company, if they're covered by your plan. Looks like I'll be a client for a while longer, and I am relieved to have found them. read more

Sierra Valley Chiropractic - Cute East Sac location, next to 33rd Street Bistro - Chiropractors Near Me - Sacramento, California

Love these peeps. I have had consistent success with treatment and the massage therapists are wonderful. I was in a bad MVA years ago and sometimes it likes to wake me up and say hello. Now I know that if I keep regular appointments I don't get the sciatica pain that I thought would a regular part of my life. The office is professional and friendly. Located right next to Midtown Shoes and having their own parking lot is also a plus. read more

Drs. Heidi and Ben are fantastic. I was looking for a chiropractor I could trust and who would be considerate in their approach to adjustments. I found that at Sierra Valley Chiropractic. Their entire staff from the front desk to massage therapists are friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they are down to earth people and not trying to dazzle you with office water features or flat screens, and they're not hocking "health supplements". They take insurance, and care about their community. Highly recommend! read more

Ben and Heidi are amazing. I do see Heidi more with scheduling but both are great. Heidi is always good at listening to what's going on with my body and explaining to me why I'm in pain lol 100% recommend read more

I have been seeing my chiropractor for a year now and I love it! I am always able to get an appointment right away and can feel my back straighten up after every appointment. I would highly recommend if you are looking for good and honest service. read more

I have been seeing Heidi and Ben Jones (mostly Ben) for 3 years now. I typically schedule an appointment every 3 months for maintenance or when I'm feeling really out of alignment. They are amazing chiropractors for so many reasons. They never make me feel rushed during my appointments and I miraculously feel better after they adjust me. I tend to have lots of questions and they are always passionate about explaining what's going on with my body and suggesting modifications. I often call last minute or day-of for appointments and I am accommodated every time. I once had terrible pain in my arms and hands from moving and heavy lifting and after a few months I was healed! They lent me an electric stim device and special ice pack that really helped ease my pain. I highly recommend Ben and Heidi if you want to feel better. They really care about their patients and love what they do! read more

I was very impressed by the thorough assessment on my first visit, and also how focused he was in my daily habits and exercise routine and how these things add up to long-term back and neck issues. He also adjusted my mid-back successfully and in a way that my previous chiropractor never could quite get. I will be back! read more

I have come to SVC on and off for 12 years. The first was for a car accident and they helped with that. I saw both Heidi and Ben. They are both knowledgeable, experienced, and personable. When I became pregnant with my first child, they helped me with the sciatic pain of carrying the baby. Heidi then continued to help after delivery. She adjust my newborn baby and myself in the same appointment. She gave great motherly tips over several months but also great knowledge on how to get my body back to feeling like myself again. My son and I were then rear ended when he was 6 months old. So we came back. He was fine. Ben and Heidi got me back to normal again. Every time I came, I left feeling better. They are the best. Highest recommendations! read more

I was referred to Ben and Heidi by a friend. Initially, I was skeptical of chiropractors, but they made me feel at complete ease. My first two visits were in 2007 to treat a sciatic nerve that started bothering me while training for a race. Their heat treatment and adjustment did the trick! I competed in my half marathon several weeks later and never had to return until this spring (2.5 years later) when I was training for another long distance race. When I went in recently for my sciatic nerve, I called at 8am and got a 9am appointment the same day. I was thrilled! Instant pain relief. I've finished my long distance race and am feeling a little bit of pain since competing so I'll likely return once more. I don't anticipate having to return often--their adjustments seem to do the trick with only one or two visits. Heidi and Ben are both very friendly, honest and caring. I very much recommend seeing them. read more

Ben and Heidi are FANTASTIC! I'm not sure how I initially got referred 10+ years ago, but I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them--ditto with the folks I've referred! When I first came in I had just spent a month paralyzed with Guillain Barre so was a little stove up. Between gentle massage, muscle stimulation, and good old fashioned adjusting, (plus at home physical therapy suggestions that I sometimes followed:p), I was feeling back to normal in an incredibly short time. Since then I have had a few aches and pains that I've sought their help for, and each time they've worked their magic fast! My only complaint is that they fix a person so quickly I go years without seeing their sweet selves! read more

After dealing with chronic low back pain for 4+ years and not getting significant relief from my primary care physician and physical therapy I thought it might be worth seeing a chiropractor. I am so glad I opted for this practice! I had two sessions 7 days apart with Heidi and I have essentially no pain anymore! 4+ years of constant pain just gone! On top of being a great and friendly practice is that they take my insurance (Kaiser) and made getting relief a completely easy financial choice. I will continue to come for check ups as needed, whether or not my insurance covers it. read more

Heidi helped me out a few years ago when my neck went out of whack. An old injury started flaring up and she made me feel so much better, even after the first appointment. I haven't had to go back since. I just referred my mom and she had the same experience. She was kicking herself (figuratively obviously) for not going to see Heidi sooner. If you are in pain, Heidi can help! read more

I went to at least 7 other chiropractors before I found this place, and I was honestly about to give up on ever feeling good again. Heidi got me back to walking normal and feeling great in about 3 weeks (before that, I had been limping from sciatic pain for about 3.5 months). It's not always a quick fix, but it's totally worth it to feel normal. read more

Totally unacceptable for a "professional office". Did not call to tell me that the chiropractors were out for two weeks and to reschedule! Good thing I called otherwise I would have had a lovely drive for no reason not to mention the taking off of of work. Was my first appt. And no thank you on "Rescheduling". read more

I've been seeing Heidi for a couple years now. What an amazing woman! She always makes you feel welcome, never rushed, and always heard. She knows what's she's doing and knowledgeably answers all your questions and concerns. read more

I'm thankful my insurance covers this awesome Chiropractic business! It's a family style business where they make you feel at home. Stephanie at the front desk is super sweet too! The parking can be a bit of a pain but it's so worth it to be out of pain! read more

I went in as a walk in. Had shoulder/neck pain for a couple weeks. They were very kind and professional. Explained everything step by step since I have never been to a chiropractor before. I walked out with the ability to move my neck again. I will for sure go back to them. read more

Love this chiropractic office! I have been going there for a little over 1 year. I have been to multiple different chiropractors and it just seemed like regardless of my complaint they did the same thing each time. With Heidi and Ben they actually listen and figure out the best adjustments. I would have horrific hip pain ever since I gave birth to my daughter. It would randomly come as I was walking and my hip would give out. All the other chiropractors would tell me it was sciatica and try to adjust my back. I knew it was my hip and not my back but they would not listen to me. Of course the adjustments they did would not help. The first time I saw Heidi I explained to her the hip problem and she knew just what to do. She adjusted my hip and within seconds I was pain free! They also have massage therapists and Melissa is wonderful. The best thing is they take my insurance so I can get an adjustment and 1 hour massage for my $10 copay! Awesome! read more

The team at Sierra Valley Chiropractic is absolutely awesome. I've been an off-and-on patient for over a year now and have nothing but positive reviews. I found this place through a coworker and have been faithful since. The therapeutic massage team is top notch. read more

WOW..WOW..WOW! I found this practice by taking a leap of faith on the reviews I read on Yelp and I'm SO glad I did! Dr. Heidi is aaamazing! She is very kind, quick, and discerning. Most importantly, Dr. Heidi knows the RIGHT questions to ask to get down to the root issue, she was also thorough with making sure I understood why I was experiencing shooting pain in my lower back. I was in enough pain that I couldn't sit for a long time and walked to her office. Her adjustment was the highlight of my day! I have been to 3 GOOD Chiropractors, but I have NEVER been adjusted like she did, today! The moment she did, I laid there just wanted to cry from the release of my aches and shooting pain. Both were gone! I LOVE Chiropractic, I cannot say enough! I don't know how people live without it! Dr. Heidi is very confident in her abilities and I am VERY grateful because not every Chiropractor adjusts on the first visit! I HIGHLY recommend her, she is very warm, kind, gentle, and knowledgeable! Thank you, Dr. Heidi, see you next week! read more

I have been going to Sierra Valley Chiropractic seeing mostly Heidi (but Ben is great too) for some years due to a number of spinal disorders that cause pain and immobility. I have tried everything but nothing sets me straight more than when Heidi adjust me. And even though I have trust issues (lol) Heidi has always put me at ease with her professionalism and knowledge. The massages I have received have been above average as well. read more

I initially went to Sierra Valley several years ago after experiencing severe back pain. From my first visit to my most recent visit this week, Ben and Heidi have been amazing! They are personable and extremely knowledgeable in their practice. I have referred dozens of people to Sierra Valley and everyone has raved about their service. Hands down the best there is! read more

I had severe pain in my lower back for 2 days(Beginning Thursday morning). I called around a few places and this one was able to see me in short notice. Heidi adjusted my back and I felt some relief immediately, though I was still in pain, the source of the sharp pain seemed to be alleviated. By Sunday night the pain went away almost entirely. I don't go to a chiropractor on a regular basis, but I do believe that there are times when they are best suited to fix the problem. Heidi certainly was. read more
