The owner, Matt, was quick to respond when I gave the gym a call and provided amazing customer service! He even swung by the gym and introduced himself. Gym is fully equipped with several cardio machines (stairmaster, bikes, treadmills), free weights, benches, turf area, cable machines, resistance machines, two squat racks and much more. In addition, for an extra cost, you can have access to their Recovery Room which has infrared saunas, compression boots for lowerbody (I believe hips too), and massage guns. There are also small lockers that are available for use during your workout. The gym is very clean and all of the equipment is well-maintained. This is my first time at a privately owned gym and I can see why people lean towards em. If you're local, I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out and getting a membership. All the ladies are great instructors and it makes lifting more fun with the music. And it is also difficult and get for muscle endurance! Kris was so nice, she kindly corrected my form on some movements without making me feel like a total embarrassment. Plus, it's a 2 minute walk from my work so it makes it easy to drop in for a class. I may or may not go again but now I'm glad to say I've been to the most popular CrossFit gym in Reno. I usually stick to running, yoga, swimming, cycling, walking, and lifting. The women's locker room is disgusting! I doubt it's cleaned more than 3x a week. Even then, it's not cleaned well. Toilet seat covers have been removed from the locker rooms completely. Equipment sits broken for days if not weeks when it breaks. There are spray bottles and paper towels everywhere near the machines and freew eights to clean up before/after your equipment usage. The tanning beds are permanently stained. I doubt they are ever wiped down. The massage machines are amazing when they work. It seems one or the other is always broken. The red light bed is filthy! I doubt the mattress is ever lifted to clean all the hair, food, lint, etc that builds up. It's obvious people only wipe before use (maybe). The ceiling fan doesn't work above the cardio machines. The spin room has no fans or ventilation. This place has lots of room, lots of equipment, but it is so filthy and run down at the same time.
