Our washer broke and we needed to wash . We haven't had to use a laundromat in years. The one we used to go to has since closed down. So... I decided to come to good ole yelp. It did not disappoint. This place was like 5 minutes away from my house and super easy to find. We pass it all the time and never knew it existed! The machines and facilities are very clean. The people were friendly but the prices... omg I might be out of touch with this practice but wow $10 to wash 1 load for the big washer and $8 for the next level down. I feel super blessed to be able to do laundry at home. My husband just about had a heart attack BUT ... supply and demand I guess. I felt safe even though my husband was with me, oh and you can tap to pay if you don't have change... another plus. I would come back if I were in a bind again. The important questions PRICING Washers: Large: $10 Medium:$5:50 Small: $3:50 Commercial washers: 2.75 DRYERS: One size: 0.25 for 7 mins 35 mins= $1.25 The dryers get super hot so be careful with your nice clothing. It took me an 1hr 15mins to wash 4 loads. Not bad not bad. Shocked by pricing but do what you gotta do. It's clean, nice people, they leave you alone. Hence my surprise AT 10:25 LIKE I SAID, when the guy working there told me you guys were closed. The door was unlocked and I had walked in the establishment when the worker told me that. I really never use the laundry mat but I needed to get some loads done and stopped in. I was very pleased with the simple pre loaded card system they use. The cards are free and you just load them and swipe at the machines of choice. I'll start coming just to get my blankets done quick and easy. And the Brenda makes herself available to everyone and is very courteous and helpful. read more

So it is in a iffy area. But there should be some type no solicitation signs or security. Me and my fiancé were approached by a off putting panhandler. He seemed under the influence or mentally unstable and just hung around us specifically for a minute after we already informed him we don't have any cash. The washing machines detergent compartment is very dirty. I know people use them daily but at least check for caked up washing detergent or bleach. Just maintenance as a whole needs to be stepped up. I do appreciate the cameras and the customer service. But I don't understand why they have the coin machine blocked off when it works forcing patrons to hunt down one of the ladies for change. I literally seen them take the tape off the coin machine that is "out of service ". Odd! read more

I had to do laundry at 10:30 at night on a Friday night and it was only one place that I could get it done and it was over here at the Sierra coin laundry with Carmen she welcomed me and got me on her best machines that were ready to go all the machines were working all of them were clean and make condition I have never seen a laundromat as clean as this place you could eat off the floors and she even let me I went to get some Dell taco I also recommend the Dell cocktail taco in the parking lot best tacos in California Tuesdays and Thursdays is taco night enjoy get tacos for everybody at the laundromat it's wonderful she'll leave and clean up with a little bit of lettuce it's the floor Carmen is the best you ain't gonna find a better laundromat than this in California it's everything you need in a clean and good and honest laundromat! read more

Not the cleanest but its open. Careful opening your dryer while its working. It might not restart and the lady will tell you its too many items. She referenced others' dryers that have only one towel as an example of an appropriate amount of items to place in a large industrial dryer. After I moved ALL my clothes to another dryer and paid all over again, which worked, her excuse changed to "im just the lady that cleans" and walks away. Other than this the place isn't bad. People mind their own business and you can wash in peace. read more

I give the place in whole a 5* rating. New, clean machines and you can use CC or coins. The establishment is very clean and 'homey' with plants around. Many different sized machines and reasonably priced. Change machines and a machine to get a prepaid CC to swipe. Next to Rite Aid, Dollar Tree & Stater Bros for necessities if needed. Soda machine on site. The only reason for the 4*'s is because all the TV's are tuned into Spanish channels. There are Hispanics, African-American, white & oriental clients in here and we are in the USofA so it's really not appreciated that only one ethnicity can enjoy the TV's. read more

Clean and not crowded. I was having problems getting some quarters into one machine, and literally within 15 seconds the attendant came over to see if she could assist with the problem. There's a dollar tree right next door. Very convenient for a snack, more detergent, etc. read more

I usually here on Satudays afternoon but decided to get a headstart on laundry and came in on a Friday. I know to have coins on hand before I start to wash because of this older lady who are the most vulnerable for Covid-19 doesn't wear mask. Ask me, hey lady are u washing? mind you its only 8pm, while I was exchanging money for coins to wash. I said, yes that why Im here and she saw me park my car and carry my clothes in. I've seen here go through machines to pull clothes out to putting quaters to customers. Also, likes to smoke out side the establishment. Overall, its well kept. read more

My washer broke down and this laundromat was closest to my home. Have not been in a laundromat in years a lot has changed. They take cards which is pretty cool. New washers were great. It's was clean. Nice environment inside the place. But... there is not enough dryers. So many washers for days, and when it came for me to dry my clothes I had to wait for 15 minutes. THANK GOD I remember this place!! I walk in and the place is clean!! Lots of open machines and the coin machines, detergent machines were working and in tip top condition!! This place smells clean on top of other people's detergents smells as well!! It's well lit and I actually felt safe here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Having said this..... DO NOT GO TO THE LAUNDRY MAT ON THE CORNER OF ALDER AND SAN BERNARDINO AVE!! That place is a death trap! Whom ever took over this place should be ashamed. Half the machines are broken, only two triple wide machines one has been broken for years, the other when I opened it today 4/30/18 had black water still in the drum and smelled like someone died. Only reason I'm giving this place a 4 star rating and not a 2 because MARIA. She is incredible. She helps everyone, if u have a disability, older, or just never used a washing machine. This place is hot but extremely clean. Do not bring ur kids here they have two wide open doors and maria seems to be always chasing after a kid running out a door. Who ever owns this place should praise this women because without her this place would be overrun by homeless and druggies that she kicks out bravely. read more

The machinery here is all nice and new works well but for some reason there is a lady who is always opening your machines grabs your clothse and switch's it .... she even takes out clothes if "it's too full to wash" when it's not even full. Is the first time here and I'm giving them five stars because they're pretty clean they have people cleaning and keeping maintenance on the washers and dryers. like all laundromats of course the $0.25 dryers suck but the washers are pretty new. Your clothes comes out clean. I like them I will definitely come back. The prices are moderate, I guess it can be expensive. The biggest washer I wash my blankets was $5.50 the one after it was $4.50 and the smallest was $1.75 I only changed $20 bill and I still have a quarters left. It's a small place the people that come here didn't look ghetto or anything like that. read more

I just wanted to say that I was so delighted in my first visit at the coin laundry. There was a worker here named Maria who was just helpful and kind. She displayed excellent customer service. Especially since it was my first time coming into a laundromat I honestly didn't know how to work the machines but Maria helped me the entire way and I am so thankful. I am going to continue coming into this location just because of good my first experience was. I highly recommend to come here if you are looking for a laundromat. read more

We always come to this laundry mat (even though we have a laundry facility in our apartment complex) but everytime we come Maria always helps us & She always cleans and talks to the customers which makes the time go by quicker! She's nice, helpful and this is one of the cleanest laundry mats we've been to that's why we always come back & only come here! read more

So I've came here about 4 times.. and the first time I only had one load to do but the last time I came I did all my laundry which was about 3-4 loads and I'm not going to lie.... after I dry my clothes they get a nasty homeless pee smell to them!! I've very fuckin mad because that shits nasty asf. Do they not clean there washers and dryers?!
