Spent a long time (almost two months) researching for a maternity photographer who could capture this special moment in time for us. A few things I was looking for were: bright, natural-looking photos within a certain price range. Julia reached out quickly and with a comprehensive overview of how we could work together. We set a date and location, made a deposit, and showed up for the shoot. Super easy. Throughout the session, Julia made us feel comfortable (and less awkward) and made great recommendations for how to pose or stand. My husband mentioned how he could see the difference from the way she guided us through the poses. Also loved the time of day that was recommended (just as the sun was setting) because our photos came out so beautiful with the glow from the sun setting. We received previews within a week and finals a few weeks after. I was reluctant to go with prints but so glad we did because the quality really is noticeable compared to Costco or Walgreens. I love how professional she is and how her photos have a very beautiful style (candid but she knows how to make sure the light and composition all work well together). Getting married is such an expensive gig! And any photographer worth using is at least $3000 for a limited amount of time. Julia Sieber, the photographer and owner of Sieber Studio, is a GREAT photographer with great prices. She is such a high quality photographer...honestly she could charge more and I would stay pay it. A lot of photographers we talked to were cocky or didn't even bother responding. Julia is accessible and great to work with. She let us customize a wedding package. Working with her was so easy. She captured every happy moment while still being behind the scenes. She has a great eye and knows what looks good. I knew working with her, that I would be happy with our photos, but I didn't except the photos to be so perfect! I was fortunate to find Julia, I only wish I met her sooner. She captured moments of my daughter and me that were natural not forced or posed. I was extremely comfortable posing for her and she was great at grabbing my little girl's attention. I got so many beautiful photographs after only a half hour shoot! Let me preface this post by saying the three things that were the most important to me were 1) my dress; 2) my cake; and 3) my photographer. We had cakelava for our cake (which was awesome) and Julia for our photographer. I loved, loved, loved Julia! I can't say enough good things about her. She's very sweet and she works extremely hard. This review is for a family session with babies. Julia deftly captured pretty pictures of our toddlers. She made our squirmy twins look so angelic in the photos :) And this is the main reason I would like to give her 5 stars, because the final images had beautiful lighting, composition and vivid colors. I felt she truly conveyed our toddler girls sweetness in photographs. We did one family session with Julia and she will now be our go-to portrait photographer. After all is said and done for your wedding you have 2 things left....your memories and your photography/wedding video. We decided not to have a videographer for our wedding because we thought that if we got a really good photographer that captured all the great moments of our wedding we wouldnt need a video. People told us we would regret not having a videographer. Those people were wrong!! Julia and Will did such a good job with our wedding pictures that it felt like we were reliving the whole wedding again. The sunset they captured was absolutely amazing! A co-worker of mine who attended the wedding whi saw our pictures mentioned something really good. Se said Julia's pictures were beautiful but she didn't edit it too much where the pictures looked fake like some photographers. She knew how to use the natural lights of Hawaii's sun and allow it do it's thing! Also besides having a great product, Julia and Will were great to work with. They were very professional, arrived on time, and worked with our wedding timeline/schedule. We had a very tight timeline and it was important to stay on it. Having a photographer that was able to get the important shots and keeping on the schedule allowed us to get beautiful shots without having to spend the whole time taking pictures. We had plenty of time to spend with our guests. We have no regrets with choosing Sieber Photography as our wedding photographer and we highly recommend Julia and her team for any event where you need to capture important memories. read more

We set out to find a wedding photographer with a decent portfolio that was within our budget but soon realized that we were asking too much...and then we found Julia. Not only is her work amazing but her rates were very reasonable; her quote was noticably less than the 3-star competitor that we almost settled for. We thought that it couldn't be true and proceeded with caution but as soon as we sat down and met with her over a cup of coffee, she immediately made us feel very comfortable. No pushing of upgraded packages beyond what we initially requested, and she actually threw in some extras for us! She was very good at taking our ideas and making them reality and also filling in the blanks where we had no preference. Julia can easily handle both personality types: those that dictate every frame, or those that are more relaxed. She was able to keep composure in our stressful situations (we lack punctuality) and somehow managed to get amazing shots. This review is long overdue as we have been working with Julia for almost 4 years now. Our son is 3 1/2 years old, and we took every holiday photo session with Julia, along with our son's newborn photos. We seem to find ourselves amazed every time we see our images, even though we know how wonderfully skilled she is. When our son was 2, it was extremely hard to keep him focused for a half hour photo session. But Julia came through and was able to capture beautiful pictures of us. For our recent family session, despite unforeseen weather changes, Julia was able to make an excellent suggestion about where to go. We were ultimately very happy with the outcome. Everything about Julia is wonderful, from her kind and genuine personality to her breathtaking photography! I feel so fortunate to have Julia as our family photographer.
