Pat and his assistant brought the trays right to my SUV, and they arrived to the venue in perfect shape. They were delicious. Thanks to you Pat, and your excellent staff. This week the LUNCH HERO Special is a Eggplant Parmigiana Hero....8/4/-8/10/23. I bet a Eggplant Rollatine Hero would be over the top. Pat has such Great Specials. Check out PAT's MARKETPLACE FLYER.

My mother has been for…read moredecades and still shops there and refuses to stop due to the 'convenience' of the location pertaining to where she currently resides. However, this review is not to sing their praises. It's to confirm what past reviews were saying and that a substantial portion of the prepackaged and precooked food they sell is actually expired. And that they will have employees switch the "Use By:" dates on expired items. Recently, after opening a fettucine alfredo that was supposed to be good for 4 more days, the smell was almost unbearable. Ive had blatant expiration issues with eggplant parmigiana and rollatini, chicken cutlets, chicken parmigiana, chicken meatballs, spaghetti and meatballs, breaded salmon, and my personal favorite "pasta alla vodka" (don't ask me what kind of pasta... its thick flat wavy noodles that shouldn't be fed to animals let alone humans in my opinion) chicken pizzaiola and many other products have also had blatant sauce separation with a watery glaze displaying potential expiration just from a first glance, foul odors and if you dare to consume something questionable... it may seem like it was not the worst thing. But, am finding out it can obviously be detrimental to one's health. They were not always this bad. Like I've said, I too have shopped there and enjoyed many of their precooked meals. But years ago, the quality suddenly dropped and I refuse to go near this place any longer and grocery shop elsewhere now. When I noticed some of these items in an ill relatives fridge and have heard other complaints just by word of mouth... I decided to search for any similar experiences and have found I am nowhere near alone on having this experience with the same item category. I'm hoping they change practices or they should no longer be selling these products unless they're made fresh to order.

Base my reviews off what you pay:…read more *This place is a deli. Price - $35 (two sandwiches, no beverages) Food - 3/5 - good food, nothing special. Service - 4/5 - solid and nice. Overall - 3/5 - just another typical deli in Northport. Definitely some better ones but this place is fine. Menu is lacking a bit and a bit pricey for what you get but it is Northport Village. Staff did go a bit beyond what needed which was nice. Place was nice clean on the inside. Solid spot but nothing worth going out of your way for. Best Dish - Smash Burger

Just stopped by James Street Market for the first time today for lunch, and was delighted by their…read moredelicious Cobb Salad!! It comes in a giant plastic bowl, with a great mix of spinach, arugula, and romaine lettuce. On top sit two perfectly hard boiled eggs, half a ripe avocado, halved grape tomatoes, feta cheese, pomegranate seeds, and sunflower seeds. Also... the dressing is so good... really fresh and binds the whole thing together. I'm totally coming back to get this again!! They have a bunch of refrigerated cases with fresh fruit salads, chobani yogurt cups, and drinks that would be great for a picnic in the park. In the deli case they have a whole bunch of cold salads... chicken, egg, tuna, and a yummy looking chickpea salad that I want to try next time. According to the man working behind the counter, they opened yesterday (5/26) and are still printing out labels and menus. The whole family was helping out and welcomed me with a smile. I'm glad that this place is fulfilling that deli niche in the tradition of the northport harbor delicatessen, just with an updated and fresher take on the same classics. I'm so excited to come back for more!

They are all pretty much the same. I have been a fan of Stop & Shop for a while now. This shop is big, I mean really big yet I always find a parking spot in their big shared lot. It's an easy in and out for of Fort Salonga Rd. This is a very busy store and the parking lot is large enough to support it. You enter from either end into a huge store. What I like about Stop & Shop is that it is laid out really well and where there needs to be space there is space, and the Isles are big enough to maneuver through with a big crowd here. There is plenty of space around the meet, dairy and a very spacious vegetable area. They also have a marvelous bakery here. It's really a one stop shopping spot. Great deli area and plenty of great prepared foods. This place pretty much has it all. There is a pharmacy and wonderful florist. I am not going to go aisle by aisle and let you know what they have. It should suffice that they have a huge selection of foods and there is always great sales going on with the food being displayed on the end caps throughout the store. THe isles are large enough for you to maneuver easily. I definitely recommend this market for your needs along with the other Stop & Shops. KUDOs to the team here.
