Martin gave us many options and recommendations that made the repair fast and easy. Our fire occurred 11/22, we reached out to All American Construction 01/23, and our house was move in ready by 10/23. The house was perfect. We didn't have to pay out of pocket because Rosa helps us and the insurance paid for all the repairs. You will not regret using All American Construction, they will do the best. Being such a specialized project we needed just the right person. We contacted a friend who worked at the carpenters union and she suggested Martine Borges at All American Construction. It was exactly the right choice! Martine was able to step in and evaluate what had been done, what needed to be corrected and make a plan for moving forward. Martine communicated frequently and clearly with us. He listened carefully to our thoughts and offered creative suggestions. When problems in the build arose, he sat down with us and together we found solutions. Martine and his team provided quality work and took great pride in the house they were building. In the years since we have had many opportunities to have All American Construction complete improvement and upkeep projects on our log cabin. All projects were completed with the same care and attention to detail as the original build. Most recently we have undertaken a major bathroom, paint and flooring remodel. Martine and All American Construction have gone out of their way to listen to our ideas and offer creative and beautiful suggestions. This company is so trustworthy that we took a three week vacation while Martine was remodeling our bathroom. When our remodel is complete I will update this review and include pictures.

Their worker's compensation insurance was cancelled 10/21/24, so if one of their employees rolled off your roof and got seriously injured, your on the hook!! I wrote this on 8/22/25, and the information is accurate as of this date. I suppose this company can renew their license at some future point, get their bond and worker's comp insurance updated, and delete the blurb about them being a female owned business, thereby making my warning here moot. But until that happens, people should approach this company with caution.

I can be reached at 415 686 1369. I purchased a beautiful older home which after receiving a recommendation from a trusted friend, and interviewing several other contractors, I hired California Shine Construction to completely remodel the kitchen and bathroom, paint the exterior and interior of the home, refinish existing and install new wood flooring, install recessed lighting, and replace the old wooden roof on the house and detached garage as well as install a flagstone patio. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience of working with California Shine. The price for the project was competitive ( I obtained two other estimates) and the craftsmanship and installation of granite countertops, kitchen cabinets, wooden trim, tile work, appliances and hardware was excellent. Luis Bravo kept me informed on the progress of the work and responded to me promptly when I reached out to him with questions. The job was completed on time, the site was kept clean and the work crew were friendly and seemed to enjoy working with their coworkers and as well as the work they were doing. Over the years I have worked with different contractors on various home remodels and my experience on this project with California shine has been the best. I highly recommend Luis and his team. Thank you California Shine, my house looks beautiful Inside and out.

When we mailed him a certified letter to ask for our deposit back, he REFUSED TO ACCEPT the letter. Whatever you do, DO NOT HIRE this dishonest, unethical man.
