The NP that owns the place is amazing. I was a little nervous my first time there because of some reviews I read, but now I'm sure that they were unfounded cruelty directed at this very gracious and honest practitioner. It takes a lot to keep a business running for five years in New York. Although people are quick to criticize, they are sadly slow to compliment a job well done. I have been getting Botox and fillers for years, and have a good understanding of what good results are supposed to look like. I have had Botox twice at Chi Aesthetics, and it was perfect both times. I had fillers done, and the result was better than my previous technician (in another state) had accomplished. She was able to address difficult spots that require a high level of skill -- without injuring me or resulting in uneven results -- despite the frequent interruptions and questions from her trainee. At my most recent appointment, I started asking about her laser treatments and cellulite treatments. She spent the better part of an hour answering all of my questions about each type of treatment, what it does, which treatment would likely have better results for me, and even suggested the less expensive option as being more appropriate for accomplishing my goals. I went home and did some research on the machines and the treatments, and found that she had been flawlessly honest and transparent. I value that so much in a business owner. I'm not just a quick paycheck to her, I'm a long-term investment. That's an attitude that has sadly become uncommon these days. On the technical side, this business has the "Do-it-all" laser! Want to resurface your skin and grow collagen? Done. Want to tighten up the saggy knees? Done! Want to freeze some fat? She has the latest and safest tech for it. This place is a hidden gem, with a family-like ambiance for regulars. Please be nice to these people if you choose to go to them. They are good people who give their time and care freely.

She looked perturbed I was even in the office. I needed refills on face creams . She didn't want to fill them. She filled the wrong rxs and gave me scripts she felt that was appropriate. I told her I was allergic. Going by these terrible reviews I don't understand how this Dr has business at all. ****Also, as for the post Dr. Lederman answered on Yelp giving detailed information about a patients care. We were standing in the small reception area/glass window waiting to be handed the sign in sheet and nothing, so we took a seat waiting to be called. Then a patient WHO CAME IN AFER US I guess grabbed the sign in sheet from inside the window and signed herself in and was seen BEFORE US. Mind you, that patient was also stating that she was a half our early for her appointment to begin with. First of all with having prior doctors office reception experience you take the patients according to their appointment time regardless of when they sign in. I guess with this office it works on a first come first serve basis. My grandfather wanted a cup of water in which we thought that the water machine in the waiting area worked however, there was no cups and the staff replied that it didn't work. The receptionist was then shouting from her window "ALEX YOUR COPAY IS THIS" "SALLY YOU OWE THIS" and I thought that was a bit rude and invading privacy. On the other hand, the other staff as well as the PA are very thorough and efficient. The PA was really doing a complete assessment and diagnosing each concerns that we had. The doctors and PAs are great! But a sour receptionist can really change your view of an office.

Each time, I am told that the medical provider has had an emergency that they need to attend to. I understand that emergencies happen, especially in healthcare. However, I have an emergency too, and I made my appointment because my daughter needed medical attention. Repeatedly cancelling appointments leaves patients without the care they need and is completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by this experience. After dealing with this repeatedly, I would not recommend this medical office to anyone. The way they handle appointments and patients is, in my opinion, completely unacceptable and deeply concerning. One star is too much.
