There was some confusion in the booking process. At first I was told that the cheaper fare with Lyft was not available. So I went with Uber. However, it ended up being a Lyft driver (at the Uber price, I guess). Then the pick-up point at the airport was not clear. The conformational email said, "Meeting Instructions: Please call dispatch at", and then no number was given. I tried calling one of the other numbers given in the email - ShuttleFare, I guess. After working my way through the menus I was told that no one was available to talk to me and I should try calling later. So I tried to find a number for Uber dispatch - couldn't find one. Went back to the number I had tried earlier. Success this time. The person I spoke with was very good and understood my problem. He said to wait for a text from him with the information I needed. However, I ended up getting a phone call from a Lyft driver. The Lyft driver himself was very professional and courteous for our whole hour-long drive. read more

I made a reservation the day before to be picked up and received a conformation. Never used this before so I called the morning of and they said the driver would contact me when the lyft was on its way. got a text 15 minutes before I was supposed to get picked up saying lyft requested a ride for me with a rideshare company. Got a few more texts saying the same thing. Finally I called the shuttlefare and said I should be getting picked up right now and I'm only getting texts saying Lyft requested a ride. They called me back and said that they couldn't find a driver and had to cancel it. Why did they wait till the last minute to find me a ride when I booked it the previous day? This was 10 minutes after we were supposed to leave for the airport! I had to scramble to find a ride to the airport for my family and almost missed my flight. This caused extra stress that I didn't need. The charges are still showing as pending on my credit card. I hope I don't have to fight to get them removed. read more

I notified Shuttlefare that our flight departure time had changed a week in advance. On the day of our flight, the provider told us that Shuttlefare had not notified them and that they could not accommodate our new departure time. Shuttlefare then refused to refund the $136 I paid and kept directing me to the provider who said it wasn't their fault that Shuttlefare didn't notify them regarding the change. I went to Chile and booked transportation in advance to be sure. I didn't know that if you want this service you have to have phone service in Chile to be contacted in the airport. I don't have phone service outside USA. People borrowed me their phone to call the company, I called twice, the last time I was told to look for the car. I waited for an hour and I was never picked up. I had to pay for a taxi inside the airport, which was actually cheaper than Shuttlefare. VIP service! I highly recommend this service. I received a call from shuttlefare moments after landing to let me know an attendant was waiting for me at the baggage carousel. Sheldon was very sweet and patient while we waited for our luggage and then loaded our suitcases onto a cart and led us to our nearby shuttle. Our driver, Joshua, was very personable and offered good tips for enjoying Oahu. I was not expecting anything like this. I thought I would have to figure out where the shuttle arrived once we landed and cart my cases over to it and wait until they showed up, but instead this company made me feel like a VIP. read more

She paid them $400+ for a ride only 2 towns over and after she figured out that they were not going to pick her up they wanted an extra $178. I wouldn't recommend anyone use this service. Awful experience! My family and I used their services to pick us up from the airport. Not only was the driver and the person I'd been corresponding with not the same person, the person who picked us up was late, didn't speak English very well, was careless with our luggage, and most notably, was INCREDIBLY RUDE. He literally rolled up late, ran out of the car and then immediately was saying really loudly "hurry up! Get in car now!" And when I asked him how we'll fit 9 people into his small suv with 5 seats, he was extremely annoyed and frustrated with why I didn't understand a second car was coming that I wasn't told about and didn't sign up for--I paid for ONE shuttle. I have never dealt with a more screwed up company. Customer service hung up on me a record 4 times! I never raised my voice. I said that I had not received ANY emails from them, the young lady said she would send me an email, I asked her if we should check that she had the correct Email address and she hung up on me. I booked a ride to EWR for 4.30am. The driver called at 430 and said he was downstairs. I told him we'd be down in a few minutes. We got downstairs at 4.38 and he wasn't there. We called his cell phone and said he had left after 5 minutes and then hung up. Dispatch called and offered to book another car for us, but I told him we'd take an Uber instead and that this was the most unprofessional conduct I had experienced for a long time. We have small children with us, and this has been completely unprofessional. After reading several complaints regarding similar experiences, I now know this is not an isolated experience but how the company conducts business. I will be making an official complaint with the Better business bureau for false advertising and marketing. They simply contact Uber or Lyft for your ride, that's it, and that's all!! Easy process for making a reservation and was able to accommodate me with little notice!

We tried using this shuttle service for a pickup to catch a flight out of RDU. The first driver never showed. The second driver the service scheduled as a replacement didn't show. We ended up having to drive ourselves late to the airport. When we called to get our money back for their failure to pick us up as scheduled we got the runaround Tracking them down numerous times instead of them communicating with us. Never did get our full money back. Very disappointed with their lack of service. Wouldn't ever use them again. read more

On September 27th I booked a pickup for 12:18 am on 10/10 at my hotel in Peachtree GA to the Atlanta airport. I called the customer service number that morning to see if it was possible to get picked up a little earlier. The person I spoke to didn't know where I was being picked up from and kept insisting that my pickup was for 12:30. I told her I am looking at the confirmation that says 12:18 and she gave me the driver's phone number and told me to work it out with him. I called him and he tells me he can't get there until 1:00. I said my confirmation was for 12:18 and if he can't make it by 12:18 I will have to cancel. He got real nasty and said I'll be there at 12:30 I said I'm just going to cancel then he agreed to pick us up at 12:18. At 12:28 I called him and he said he was on his way. A few minutes later he calls and says he is at the shopping mall and wanted us to go over there because he didn't know how to get to the hotel from there. I told him I don't know where you are, I'm not from this area and he kept saying he is at the shopping mall and he doesn't know where the hotel is. I gave him the address again and he hung up. A few minutes later I see a van drive past the hotel so I call him and he answers the phone and doesn't even say hello, he says "I'm here, where are you" I said you in a white shuttle van? I watched you drive past the hotel. He just hangs up on me and a few minutes later he shows up. At this point he is 45 mins late picking us up - not wearing a mask. We get in and he asks us how to get to the airport. Again, we are not from this area. I ask him if he has GPS and he says yes, so we tell him to put the address of the airport in. Then he is driving in circles and we can see on his GPS he still has it set for the hotel address. We keep telling him he has the wrong address in and he just keeps saying "trust me I have the right address" We literally drive in circles past the hotel twice. Then he finally pulls over and fixes it. I'm grateful I didn't miss my flight. I emailed customer service about nightmare. They could care less. Horrible company. read more

I realized that my ride fell through when I was switching planes in Denver. I found ShuttleFare doing an online search and booked a ride hoping that it would work out OK. As soon as my plane landed, Omar called to let me know he was waiting for me. As soon as I got my luggage, I called him and met him at the arranged pickup in 5 minutes. Called the number for the driver and instead of answering, completely declined the called and it is went to voicemail. Had to call dispatch again and they said I was never there for pickup. I had occassion to use Shuttlefare.com August 1st, when a friend and I flew from LAX to Fort Lauderdale, but needed to get to Miami where our friend was going to pick us up. The Shuttlefare driver described his car and meeting place at the airport and within minutes after we were in our pick up zone, we were on our way to Miami. I receive a cancelation email from them two days before my scheduled pickup. They stated I would receive 100% refunded of my original charge of $32.15. I went to google Super Shuttle and this Shuttlefare website always pops up, making you think it was Super Shuttle you are making a transaction with. They charged me total of $27.00 for a 1 way fare, with $ 4.00 for "other fees" included. After realizing I have a Triple A discount, I called them and they would not honor it saying they are a different service. I finally located the super shuttle website and booked myself there with my Triple A membership discount which cost me only $21.00. I tried to call shuttle fare to tell them to cancel my service and they said "sure but we still charge you $4.00 for the canceled service". What service? You have not done jack! This company is a fly by night operation. As evidenced by the reviews before me, it's obvious I should've checked reviews BEFORE I booked. I wanted a super shuttle, and googled for a super shuttle. This was the top result. When I requested a ride, I needed one immediately as I had just landed at my location of San Jose. ShuttleFare allowed me to book a ride, picking me up 5 minutes, so I assumed SuperShuttle just had rides available, it was a monday evening, how busy could they be right? WRONG. I waited 30 minutes, still no ride. I called the number in my confirmation email, and had about 20 minutes of talk with Royalle over at Super Shuttle, in which she said this wasn't SuperShuttles fault, and that I'd have to wait until 11:30 pm, to get a ride from them. It was barely 9:00pm at that time. Wait over 2 hours? that's insane. I said so, and I will be lodging a complaint with Super Shuttle as well. Either way, I had to shell out extra money to catch a ride with another shuttle service, and called up today to get a refund. They wouldn't compensate me for the additional cost, saying it was SuperShuttles fault that the booking was allowed to go through. Funny, that's exactly what SuperShuttle said about ShuttleFare. Another typical bad business pawning off their problems to another bad business. Tammy was the customer service representive, wouldn't connect me with a supervisor, and said there were no supervisors in the area. NEVER SHOWED UP!!! Requested a 3:30 am ride to the airport and the driver never showed up! We had a confirmation number and because of the early morning pu time called in advance to make sure there would be no issue. When we called dispatch they said they had to find a driver. We had an early am flight so we ended up driving to the airport ourselves. This was a 1 way flight so now we have to find a way to retrieve our vehicle which is 60 miles away at airport parking...plus pay for the parking. How come there wasn't a driver available for a confirmed ride or even a call from dispatch that there may be an issue?!?!?! Requested a callback from the manager but not surprisingly no call. Don't ever use this company. I made a reservation for pickup at the airport in Puerto Rico. The company they contract with cancelled the ride immediately saying they couldn't make the pickup. Shutttle Fare never contacted me and I arrived in Puerto Rico with no pickup and was unable to get hold of anyone. I called 5 times no answer. I finally had to look for an Uber which took almost 2 hours. I called them to complain and spoke to someone who said a supervisor would call me back to let me know if they approve the refund. Terrible service. A totally incompetent Uber driver was assigned to our trip. He drove for 45 min. minimum before getting on the right route. Very little English so communication was bad. He seemed afraid to drive on the highway and I had to tell him to drive in the right lane b/c the cars were whipping around us. Just scary. I complained to Shuttlefare by email and many, many phone calls and was always told I'd get a call back from the supervisor but it never happened. Totally blew me off.
