Late post, but I didn't want to not post how my experience was with ShuttleFare. It's the first time I am using and it was great. The website was super easy to use in making reservations. It had clear directions on how to complete and the price was fair. I received a text message before boarding the plane and when I landed the communication was great. I am not much of a phone talker so the text messaging communication was great. As soon as I landed i texted ShuttleFare as they have instructed and almost immediately I received a text back if my flight landed and where I should go. They already had a vehicle in route to the pick up location at the airport. Once, my ride got there, i received another text message 1-2 mins later asking if I was in the car. This was great that they made sure I got to my ride okay. It was my first time in NYC and I was a little nervous since I don't know the area. I could not believe the traffic. Then again I've seen worst here in Tampa, FL. Anyway, I made it to my hotel and I received another text message if I made it to my destination. As my vacation comes to a close, I texted the dispatcher the night before to make sure all is set for my earlier departure the following morning and I was advised it is and just to text back when ready the following morning when I am ready. I did text and within 5 mins they have a vehicle on the way to pick me up. Overall experience was OUTSTANDING! I will use "ShuttleFare" again when I come back to NYC. Not sure if this is use in other parts of the states but definitely recommend it when/if you go to NYC. read more

One star is way too much for this rating! My originating flight was delayed which caused me to miss my connection in Charlotte and therefore my Shuttlefare pickup in Fort Lauderdale. No one answered the phone number that was on my confirmation, so I had to send an email. It took over an hour for a response. By that time, the driver was already there to pick me up. Basically, I was told that I didn't give a 24 hour notice and since the driver was there - I was charged. How was I supposed to know 24 hours ahead of time that my flight was delayed? What kind of SCAM operation is this? NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Beware of this scam operation!!! read more

Please Please Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They make it easy to book a reservation on their site but don't try to verify it or try to contact anyone. Their phone number goes to a computer generated voice. They say you can speak to a live person but it's not gonna happen! I booked a ride that was to be provided by LYFT but the confirmation I received from ShuttleFare wasn't correct so I tried to reach them. Well, that was very difficult and since you can't speak to someone you need to go on their site and use a virtual assistant. First they couldn't find my reservation and then when they did I was told to call/contact LYFT. Well you can't speak to anyone there either but only thru text. So I did and LYFT had no record of my reservation and said to contact ShuttleFare. Actually they didn't know what I was referring to. So I again tried to contact ShuttleFare on the phone number they provided on my confirmation. Here's where the fun starts. When I called the automated answer voice who says her name is Mary couldn't find anything either and I had a paid conformation! So now after all this frustration I decided to cancel everything. Again that wasn't easy either. I couldn't cancel thru the phone or on their website and had to go back to my email and use the email confirmation. Again if you use these guys BEWARE!!! read more

Just posting to share our family experience with this company and hopefully help others who read this in advance before booking them for services. Family was flying from Miami to San Antonio this past Wednesday night (2/16/2022) and had made plans to have Shuttlefare pick us up and drop us off to our hotel. This is was fully coordinated and planned for in advanced, paid for etc. When we arrived there was no one there to be found. Tried to contact the company on the reservation email and only received voicemail and to call the number in the email. Talk about ridiculous and a joke of a customer service that is advertised as 24/7 support when in fact its not. Total shame of this company and really should not even provide services if this is how they run things and leave folks who are traveling hanging. Just look at the reviews here (which I wish I did in advance prior to booking) - totally unacceptable and a shame! read more

Don't trust the website. The website says you can book a shuttle at the airport. I did just that. The website showed that a shuttle was available to pick me up. Within a couple of minutes of ShuttleFare.com confirming my reservation, the shuttle service texted me stating that there was no shuttle to pick me up therefore I had no ride from the airport to my hotel. ShuttleFare issued a partial refund stating that I canceled the shuttle service when in actuality the website stated a shuttle was available when it was not. Don't count on this website because it does not accurately reflect if a shuttle is available and you probably won't get a full refund from this company when the shuttle service cancels your reservation. read more

I had a good experience with shuttleFare. Ignacio is was the name my driver and he picked me from the airport and was very professional and very courteous. He made sure I was comfortable all the way to my destination. I didn't have to wait long on my arrival and he kept in contact with me telling me his exact time of arrival. I liked my driver so much that I called customer service and I told them I want Ignacio to pick me for my departure. They said yes and he came and got me on my last day. I would definitely use this shuttle service the next time I go to TX. read more

Shuttlefare failed to provide a ride. I booked a ride 3 days in advance. I arrived at LAX; Shuttlefare texted me to confirm when I got to the pickup area. I texted them (got there 8 minutes early). Shuttlefare called and said they were working on "it". 30 minutes later, after Shuttlefare's customer support number said they weren't taking calls 14 times, I got through. The same Shuttlefare representative gave the same "we're working on it" response. It took another 30 minutes to get through again... same results. I finally got a Lyft ride for $110 more than my reservation (supply/demand at that time) Shuttlefare failed to meet their obligations. read more

The price is very reasonable and submitting the information for pick up and drop off is as well. But... upon arriving to Punta Cana, no one was there to pick us up. We ended up paying $30 to get from the airport one way because they were no shows. Hence the reason for my rating. The ONLY reason they got the extra star because on the way back, they had someone at the hotel early to pick us up and take us back to the airport when it was time to leave. I still have not gotten my money back for that one way trip. I would go with a different company if I were you. I will NEVER use them again. This is the worst service I have ever had in all my MANY years of traveling all over the world. I was standing out in the Seattle rain waiting for my ride (which I'd paid for and received the confirmation). Finally I called the main number and a recording informed me that the service would not be available!! Seriously?! I have less than an hour to make it to SeaTac at rush hour. Good plan! Finally had to get an Uber and paid through the nose for it! The bastards at Shuttlefare never reached out to me, never refunded my money. I am currently in a chat fight trying to get someone whose first language is OBVIOUSLY not English to refund my $$. Wish me luck. Save yourself a really big headache and DO NOT use this service! There was a real problem with our reservation. The driver who did not speak English, tried not to meet and greet but instead to avoid paying for parking by picking up outside. I called the company who presumably told him that he had to meet the terms of the contract. The driver then said we would need to pay extra for him to park. This was not exactly the company's fault since they did tell the driver that he needed to fulfill the contract,, after which he did go the the arrivals hall, but sending a driver who could not speak English was their decision and of course if the driver did not meet and greet a Lyft would have worked fine at 1/2 the price. We had to cancel our first booking and the number to call is in Barcelona. They told me they could not help. Again something is seriously wrong with this company. read more

I needed to get from the airport to a hotel near the cruise docks in Quebec. Shuttlefare offered a variety of options including how much baggage per person was available. The selection was broad and I found what I was looking for in a few minutes. Everything is paid for and it's just a matter of connecting with the driver at the airport when I arrive. Reserving the car: entered the information for our pick up. Booking was very easy and I had a host of options based on my comfort level including Lyft! I made my selection, they allow you to select if there are extra bags and write notes for your service. Apple pay or enter your information then click pay. I received confirmation immediately and sent myself an extra just in case. read more

I would go ZERO stars if I could. TL;DR - Reservation from LAX was postponed nearly 5 hours, company failed to provide refund. From a non-sensical reservation system and apps/websites that suggest non-existent functionality, this was a terrible shuttle experience* * - I say experience, even though the shuttle did not show up for 4+ hours and I never rode it. My original reservation was for 7am, but upon landing I received a notice my pickup time was moved to 8am (well outside the 10-35 minute window they quoted). I called and was told that despite my 7am reservation, shuttles only began at 8am. Again, I had a confirmed 7am reservation. 8am comes and I get a text informing me my shuttle is now at 9am. A few minutes later, another text informs me that my shuttle will arrive at 10am, give or take 30 minutes. I call their "help" line yet again, only to be informed my shuttle is actually coming at 11am, not 10am. I explain that my reservation was for 7, I am not willing to wait around 4 hours for a ride, and that I would like a refund. The customer service rep promises to send me a refund request via email . . . one week later, despite repeated calls, I have yet to receive said refund form or any refund of any kind. Best part, after taking a Lyft for only ~$12 more, I am at my hotel when I get a call - at noon - that my shuttle driver is at the airport looking for me. Terrible, terrible logistics, service, and tech. Avoid at all costs. read more

Travel from LAX was expensive using traditional rideshare apps. Using shuttlefare saved at least $50-60 bevause everytime I refreshed my app the price jumped up. I found shuttlefare with a quick internet search while standing in baggage claim which was wild. I'm grateful they exist. I even accidentally chose the wrong day and customer service was super helpful and nice. They arranged my pickup and monitored my trip and were available via text if I had any issues which I didn't. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

I am HIGHLY disappointed!!! I was charged US$69.06 for an airport pickup that never happened because it wasn't booked as there was an error message that read "An error message occurred while trying to create the reservation. Reason: Sorry that airline is not in our database. Contact via Chat and we'll try to help" Bare in mind chat was closed on weekends and this was done from August 27, 2022. I then got an email from a Rachel Park from head of support saying that there was a tentative booking schedule for pickup and I must continue booking my ride. I then proceeded to send the screenshot of the error message that was received. I then received an email from a Charyln M that stated "Thank you for contacting us. We don't have any confirmed booking under your name and email address. I'm sorry to hear that your reservation won't get through but as you can see on the error message, you put in an incorrect airline that is why the reservation did not proceeded, since our website is automated, so even though your booking was not confirmed, charges will come through your credit card but please don't worry the charge you see on your statement will be dropped within 24 hours. Unfortunately, it is one of the common problems we encounter daily because the system is automated, there are instances that your card gets charged when you hit the 'book' the button but please don't worry as it just drop on your statement within 24 hours" I advised that 24hrs have passed and the charge is still reflecting. She then responded "Hello, Thanks for your response. I have contacted our billing department to cancel that charge for you. We appreciate your patience". I still tried to book with them by asking if she could advise which flight I should choose as the client was coming from Jetair and there were 3 on the list. I RECEIVED NO RESPONSE (that was on the 28th of August On the 31st of August I then emailed Charlyn again advising that I have still not received my refund and I'm not seeing it reflected. Charlyn responded on the 1st of September with the below: "Hello, Thanks for your email. You were not charged anything so you will never have any refund. The charge you see on your credit card statement is only an 'uncaptured charge' which was already cancelled". My response was "Was not charged, but the money came off and up to now that has not reflected in my account. Please explain if I was not charged and it was cancelled why am I not seeing that debited to my account?" She then responded: "Hello, Please let us wait for a couple of days for the charge to be removed on your statement. Best, Your Shuttlefare Team" I then proceeded to ask "Again??? You said that from August 27th and still nothing" I received no response On the 11th of September I then asked: "Good day, Please advise if I should take this to social media as my money is yet to be returned" NO RESPONSE Today September 19, 2022 I'm yet to receive my money from them for something that wasn't booked and for a charge that they say would be cancelled within 24hrs. Nobody has responded to my emails since the 1st of September! I would like back by money!!! read more

I had the most terrible experience using this service. The driver arrived 1.5 hrs before the assigned pick-up time and then started the waiting timer for 60 min. The driver did not check the status of the flight which was delayed by 1/2 hr either to adjust their pick-up time. I was in constant touch with the driver and told her that she was early and that my pickup was much later but she did not accept what I said. She ended up leaving and putting me as a "NO SHOW" even before I had come out of the airport. This was after I told her I was in the immigration line and just 15-20 min away from getting out. I am extremely disappointed by the miscommunication between Shuttlefare and its drivers. I had to get a much more expensive Uber from the airport and Shuttlefare refused to pay the difference in amount. I would not recommend this service. read more

I booked them for a pickup and return to Dallas Love Airport and it was a nightmare. Upon arrival, the driver was not available and couldn't be located. Finally, was located and informed me he had been calling me (using the wrong phone number). Next, as we were walking to the car, because he had to rush and park, he lost his car. I was standing for 15 minutes waiting for him to find where he parked his car with my husband and 4 children 11 and under. On the return trip, the car was late. I called the customer service number to find out they had made a mistake and didn't have a car available. All that could be offered were apologies. I had to rush and get 2 Ubers. Luckily, Uber was able to accommodate. Overall, this was a beyond disappointing experience and I would NEVER recommend them. Their customer service was sub par, their execution was terrible and they did not have great answers for the reasons behind why each booking was a mess. Save yourself some stress, money and pain. Use an uber. Since the review, the company has followed up and claiming the driver was there and that he tried calling me. They do need to talk to the driver personally and he will own the following: he was not there ( a lovely airport personnel was walking us all around baggage claim to help find him) and he admitted to having my wrong number. He stated he called but further admitted that he was dialing the wrong number. Their notes reflect ( he called) but they do not admit he was failing to call the correct phone number which was given to this company. While I appreciate the company followed up, I am very disappointed in their lack of actual facts and do not recommend this company. read more

I had an arrangement with ShuttleFare with confirmation number 4083425. I was picked up from the airport with my friends, but when it was time for a return, our flight was rescheduled due to a storm. I reached out to ShuttleFare and was on the phone with them for almost 2hrs. They promised to cancel the service and give me another car or a refund. ShuttleFare only reached out later that night ShuttleFare could not cancel the service and provide me another means of transport or a refund. I think this is fraud and stealing. A company that does not care about its customers, is not wealthy patronizing. I have tried reaching out to the management about the unfair treatment but no one cared after they charged me $302.32 for the service. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Terrible company. The website sucks. It messed up reservation. Then called to correct mistake, we were told to cancel & rebook. We did. Still not correct. When we emailed to get it corrected, the emailed back to say we needed to rebook again. We told them no. The still insisted and cancelled one of the 2 reservations without permission. Even after very clear email NOT TO CANCEL! Then we we landed and waited 30 minutes to get picked up. No one showed. We called and were told that no one was coming for another 5 hrs even though the reservation said 12:30pm pick up. Now they are not giving us a refund. read more

DO NOT USE this service if you have 5 people in your group. I booked through Shuttlefare for our trip to New York during Christmas time. For our ride from the airport, I called after we retrieved our luggage to inform them we were ready for pickup. I received a text alerting me that a Toyota Camry was dispatched. I immediately called back to inform them that this vehicle would not work for us. Keep in mind when I initially ordered the service, I listed number of people and bags. We then had to wait for another vehicle. A small Cadillac SUV arrived. We had to squeeze 4 people in the backseat with only three seatbelts. We barely fit our 5 large checked bags and three carry-on bags, with one of those carry-ons at my feet. Several days before our return ride to the airport, I contacted Shuttlefare to change our pickup time and request a larger vehicle. On our departure day, they sent a Toyota Highlander. Here we go again. My husband spoke to the driver while I called to inform them, once again, that this vehicle would not work. At this point, I was not happy at all. We had a plane to catch and were not going to wait around for another probably inadequate vehicle. I explained my frustration and cancelled the ride. Our hotel had a vehicle there waiting for us and we took advantage. I paid this driver (hotel) to take us to the airport to insure we arrived on time. Shuttlefare labeled us as no shows and refused to refund the ride because the cancellation was less than 24 hours notice. I would not have cancelled had they sent a large enough vehicle in the first place. I basically had to double pay for one ride due to the incompetence of their dispatchers. I will never use a service of this sort again. It's pointless when they send a Lyft driver which you can just order on your own. Lesson learned. read more

I made a reservation for a hotel pick up and was charged upfront. A half hour before pickup time, I was contacted with some excuse why our group of 7 couldn't be picked up that morning. we ended up having to hire a more expensive, last-minute taxi minivan, which we were lucky to get elsewhere. This is a terrible way to treat people. If you can't guarantee a pickup, do not charge upfront, and let people know in advance. This is inexcusable. read more
