In my case she went the extra mile to work with my baby, pausing when she needed a bottle or diaper break without complaint. She made my family feel very welcome and comfortable. She posed us very naturally, giving us the perfect guidance to achieve magical shots. The finished image is very soft, organic and natural; not a stuffy, staged photo by any means. Our package included the photo session, retouching of all the images, and unlimited access to all of the final images in a digital gallery. Follow up service was phenomenal. Sarah didn't just drop off the face of the planet after the session; she messaged me with preview images, let me know when she posted to Facebook, and emailed me when the gallery was ready. It started with a lovely phone call for us to get to know each other and for Liz to get to know what our goal was for the photos. In our case the studio session was the right call. Our little one had some minor issues that left our hospital discharge date in limbo but Liz was so kind and accommodating in working with us to find the best day. It was a relief because it allowed my husband to join and worked around his crazy schedule. The studio is warm and welcoming. Liz is such an easy and gentle person and it was such a pleasure to chat with her during the session. Being a nurse and having little ones herself made me feel extra safe handing over my two week old for a couple of hours. She was really receptive to our wants for the photos. Wow, where do I start? When walking into his studio, he has his portfolio displayed on his walls…read more They are incredible photos that are so clear and precise. I went to James for help with getting a 54 year old photo, that has seen better days and survived two floods, restored an enhanced and bring new life to it. He looked at the photo and explained that due to its extensive damage, it might not come out as I expect. He then went step by step through what he would do as far as brightening it up and putting it through filters. Most of the faces in the photo were only half legible, so I didn't give my hopes up. When I tell you this man performed a miracle, believe me when I say that I teared up when I saw it. My grandmother, who passed away when my mother was only 11 years old, was given new breath and looked absolutely stunning and I could finally see what my family always talked about her being a natural beauty. My grandfather, who passed a few years ago, looked so young and lively and my mom and uncle were legible and I could see their young faces smiling. I didn't expect a whole lot as far as the photo restoration and enhancement, but James exceeded all expectations, including his own. His fee was very reasonable and he gave me an extra print of the photo. If anyone needs professional photos done or photo enhancement, James Ferry is the man for you. I'm still in awe of how amazing this photo turned out and I can't thank him enough. Not only did his work prove to be impeccable, but he's also a naturally friendly guy and a pleasure to talk with. If you're on the fence about choosing him, I hope this review settles your reservations. He is worth every penny and worth the wait time for the photos (which still wasn't long. It took him 3 weeks to get my photo in pristine condition). He is a master at his craft.
