Gotcha Covered of Sugar Land - This is just some of the work Gotcha Covered did for us! Thanks! Overcharged us for products that fell apart within days. Don't use them!

This company is a complete scam. Rachel Leuck sold us a houseful of window treatments including…read morecustom drapes, Roman shades, and 'woven' blinds. She presents herself as someone who provides high end products. Nothing could be further from the truth. The drapes were very poorly made - constructed with adhesive tape and basting tacks. They were dragging the floor and coming apart within a week. The pleats were also poorly constructed, and the drapes were basically held together with hundreds of basting tacks. The Roman shades were equally bad - they began breaking within a day after installation. The cheap plastic rings broke, but the rings were also so poorly sewn onto the fabric that they broke off with light use, rendering the shades inoperable. One Roman shade broke one day after installation, the rest broke within a a week and, eventually, almost all of them broke. Nothing from this company was properly hemmed or sewn. The fabric of the Roman shades was simply folded back and glued, and out of only two pillows, a button broke off of one the first day. Mechanical parts of these products were extremely poor quality. The 'wovens' look very inexpensive and appear to be composed of plastic. Total cost of our project was $69,000 which may not be much to many folks, but this is our third house and we know what nice window treatments are supposed to look and feel like. We are a retired couple, and this house is not a rental. We chose higher end fabrics which were butchered by Gotcha Covered's makers (they're deleting my reviews left and right-that's another story). We hired a reputable company from Houston to repair almost everything at the cost of over $10,000. The first bite out of the apple is the sweetest meaning once you cut and torture nice fabrics, there's little room for correction without losing fabric so we felt we needed someone qualified to do the repairs. Please don't let this company treat you like they did us. I think they thought we were too ignorant to know the difference between good work and bad work. And this is some bad work!

I was more than done with my vertical patio blinds. As soon as Mary walked in she said, "I know…read morejust what you need." I am thinking to myself that I had heard that before. Although she showed me a variety of alternatives, true to her word, Mary was spot on. She introduced me to the Hunter Douglas shades that not only raise but also open to allow for extra lighting in my small condo. As if that wasn't enough, they came in my favorite color - dusty blue. Everyone who has seen them immediately falls in love and asks where I got them. I can't wait to tell them about my experience and pass along Mary's contact information. My Mom was so impressed she had her patio shade replaced and she loves it! Mary was thorough in her explanation, the pricing was reasonable and the delivery was timely. If your windows need an upgrade. look no further than J&L Blinds. Mary O'Connor and her team will put a smile on your face.

This is our second time using J & L Blinds and they were fantastic both times! Last year we reached…read moreout to Mary O for custom shutters and we were very pleased with her knowledge and overall bubbly personality! She was very patient and explained every detail and suggested we go with 4 1/2 inch shutters to take full advantage of our windows and they look amazing! A couple months ago, we decided we wanted to add motorized shades to the back windows in our hone and reached out to Mary once again. Mary did an excellent job and was very helpful in our selection. Our shades were just installed and the installer was wonderful! We love our Hunter Douglas shades and have received lots of compliments on both shutters and shades! Mary O and her team are the best and I would highly recommend J & L Blinds to anyone looking to update whether it's a few rooms or complete home!
