Both Pauleen and Myro are incredibly talented and professional photographers. Pauleen helped make us feel entirely at ease in front of the camera with her directions and constantly hyping us up. On our wedding day, she knew all the best photo spots at our venue and was able to get us a wide variety of photos for our couple's portraits. Myro did a fantastic job getting photos of all our guests during the cocktail hour. We had several guests compliment how friendly he was and how many people he captured. In the background leading up to our wedding day, the True Photography team helped put a photography timeline that aligned with our wedding coordinator's timeline. This helped ensure we got all the photos needed included first looks, couple's portraits, family portraits, etc. No special moment was missed by the team throughout the wedding. True team helped us create a thorough timeline while offering suggestions/clarification so we knew what to expect and see the vision! Alex, Sheryl, and Dillan were assigned as our wedding day True team! Alex kept us on track with getting important photos and staying within the timeline. Alex was clear on posing directions and had such a calm demeanor/communication style that helped me feel reassured. Sheryl was our second photographer who captured the best candids and fun moments (e.g. one of the groomsmen had his shirt off and I didn't know until we saw the photos! HAHA). Dillan was here, there, and everywhere to get the best angles for our first dance, games, and guest reactions. Looking at our photos, I'm floored with how beautiful they turned out! The photos came in the exact time she quoted us but the edits look like pictures taken and edited off an iPhone. Not happy with them. I had to re-crop and edit majority of all photos as best I could as all the edits completely washed out our skin tone, the colors of the sky etc. I asked for the raws so I could just edit them myself from scratch and it's been 2 weeks and still haven't received them. Didn't remind us or inform to take phones/wallets out of pockets so those just look lovely in all our photos **sarcasm**. Book with someone else who knows what they're doing and takes their time on special memories like this. Updating my review! Got some of the raws back a day after making my review, which was nice of her to send as she said she didn't usually do so, but the quality of the photos look like they were taken on an iPhone..it was nice to see some of the photos that didn't come through as finals. Aside from how the photos came out, the one positive was that Anel was easy to communicate with and nice overall!!

After seeing their awesome videos on Instagram, we knew we needed to have them film our wedding. Beyond having amazing reviews that highlighted Ryan's great communication and super professional team, we really liked how Ryan used innovative techniques like flying a drone over the ceremony site to capture a different perspective. When we reached out to Ryan, we got an immediate response and a list of his pricing. Ryan let us know that he worked a lot at our venue, Green Gables Wedding Estate, and knew the staff and how they operated really well. This was awesome news for us since it meant less to coordinate on our end! It was super easy to find the best video package for us and there were even video extras like a "best wishes video" from our guests which was a fun addition. Throughout the process, Ryan's communication was superb and helped keep us on track. A few weeks before the wedding, Ryan sent us a reminder email with items he needed from us for the big day so we didn't overlook anything. On the day of, Ryan and Zack (his second shooter) were super personable and friendly which made the video experience fun and not awkward like you might assume it would be. Even though it was the first time they worked with our photography team, they did a great job of looking for opportunities to get video while we were posed for photos so we didn't have to duplicate poses. We both felt like rockstars with the prompts they gave us and are so excited to see the final video. We would definitely recommend anyone looking for an awesome videographer to use Ryan. The main regret we hear from other married couples is that they did not get a videographer for their wedding day. DON'T BE THAT COUPLE! My wife and I were married in March 2025 and initially contracted Ryan Films for a teaser and highlight video. We received the teaser and were very pleased with it. Based on the quality of that work, we then paid for an additional cinematic video so we could more fully relive our wedding day. However, the highlight video and full cinematic video have still not been delivered--now over one year later. We were informed of a personal emergency via a third party and responded with patience and understanding. Over the following months, we made several attempts to follow up but received no response. After continued non-delivery, we requested the raw footage as an alternative. In February, a team member, Madi, confirmed the footage had been shipped and provided a tracking number; however, the label was created and the package was never sent. We have not received any updates since, despite repeated follow-ups. These videos are incredibly important to us and contain irreplaceable memories, including moments with loved ones who are no longer with us. We trusted Ryan Films to capture our wedding day and asked guests not to record, believing those memories would be preserved through their work. We entered into this agreement in good faith, and while the teaser we received was beautiful, the lack of delivery and communication since has been extremely disappointing. We hope this matter is resolved, but if not, we are prepared to pursue further action, including legal remedies.

They go beyond pleasing people with there work. What they offered me was so much more than just a video about my business. They looked at my website and branded the video with the website using all the same colors fonts and logo as well as putting it on facebook, youtube and other video echange sites. They stepped up my presentaion and marketing greatly. One great thing is that they met me on 3 different job sites to get a variation of footage. We paid him a $1000 deposit (out of $6500) for the wedding and also separately $700 for the engagement party. Unfortunately, to our surprise the engagement photos were of low quality. Some of the issues included our heads being cropped off in the pictures, not being centered in the photos, and other issues. We were disappointed in this poor quality work especially for the premium we were paying. We decided to use someone else for our wedding. We brought this to Samer's attention and he was very combative and defensive and unwilling to give even a portion of the deposit or engagement money back. This is very disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend his services to anyone.

My wife came across them on Yelp! and we hired them to do the photo and video shoot for my parents' 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. Mind you, we hired them less than a month before the actual event. David and Jerome took the time to do a phone call with us and walk through the entire itinerary of the day from the ceremony at Mission San Diego through the entire reception at the Gaylord Pacific. I really enjoyed working with all of them. They were so kind, warm, and detail oriented. I can't say enough about Fate Studios and how they made this event a truly memorable event! I also pitched an idea to Jerome about doing an AI video of my parents, describing their love story and how they met 50 years ago in the Philippines. Jerome has years of experience as a filmmaker in the Philippines and has worked for one of their large TV networks there, so he's a pro. I was nervous that we wouldn't have enough time to take this video from start to finish, but Jerome assured me that he could deliver. We presented the surprise AI video to my parents after we showed their slide show and the crowd was truly mesmerized! Many of our guests told me that the AI video was an awesome concept. But let me say that David, Jerome, and their team were awesome! I feel as though I gained some friends for life. The second I met them in person it felt like I had known them for a long time. They also knew how to get my parents to take pictures. You know, once you get older the excitement for these kinds of things is not the same as when you first got married :). They were attentive and knowledgeable when I first contacted them about possibly doing our wedding. They had a great payment plan as well (surprise surprise, weddings are expensive) so I really enjoyed that they were really accommodating to our budget. What drew me to pick them was their style. I liked the type of pictures they took by looking at their Yelp and the examples on their website. My mother was trying to get me to hire her "family friend" but his style looked very cheap. Like he was just taking pictures for someone's Facebook or something. Not having that. I was thinking, this is one in a lifetime, let's go for it! On my actual wedding they, they were awesome! They took great photos and great video! I didn't even notice they were there for my reception! Very sneaky! I wish I had them make a wedding video for me at the end but that was not part of my package. Go with Sweet Day Studio if you are planning a wedding our any special event!!
