Just finished a photoshoot with Shuster Photography to update my professional photos and headshots. I have done this periodically over the years and I have to say, I was truly impressed with this experience. Dmitry has a talented eye for what will make the best pictures (he suggested several venues which showcased my work environment and profession) and is able to "direct" in a way that is fun rather than intimidating -- some of the best pictures came when he made me laugh or smile genuinely at an observation or comment. He understands light and composition in a way that results in a product that is flawless without being contrived. We did full body, 3/4 shots and head and shoulder pictures in full color and black and white and they all look awesome. It is hard to decide what to use. At a logistical level, Shuster Photography was responsive to requests, accommodating my schedule and providing my finished product rapidly using an online access code at the website. I would recommend this outstanding photographer to anyone without hesitation. read more

I can't begin to say what a pleasure it was working with Dmitry for my fiance and I's engagement photo shoot. From the first time I spoke with him on the phone you could tell he genuinely cared about what you wanted and you could feel his enthusiasm for photography. Dmitry went above and beyond my Fiance and I's expectations and worked with us up to the photo shoot to ensure we were going to get pictures we would love for years to come. During the photo shoot he made us feel completely comfortable and care-free and we had such a fun time shooting with him. Not only was he a great person to work with, but his photos are truly beautiful. He was able to easily capture special moments that we can now keep forever. He has a great eye that really shows in every photo. I am so thrilled with our photos and am also incredibly impressed by how fast he edited them and had them ready for us. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any occasion you're looking for. read more

I found Dmitri on Craigslist while searching for a photographer to capture my proposal to my girlfriend. Dmitri was very professional from the beginning and very easy to get in contact with. We stayed in touch via email until the day of the proposal. Dmitri was open to my requests and was even happy to work with mine and my fiancees families ahead of time to get perfect "pre-pictures". He went above and beyond the scope we had initially agreed upon. He treated me so well that I was happy to increase the original agreed upon price to which he was very grateful. He provided professionally edited digital images via his website (private login/password to view our photos; 116 in all) by the next morning. I was thrilled with how the photos came out and really liked his style. We were free to download and share them all on social media. I plan on hiring Dmitri again for more formal engagement photos and potentially the big day itself! read more

Dmitry was great, and I would unconditionally recommend him. First, he did all the fundamental stuff -- was on time, prepared. etc., so no issues there. More importantly, he was just really pleasant to do the shoot with. My fiance and I, having never been involved in a photo shoot, were both a little anxious at first, but Dmitry helped everything go very smoothly and helped us loosen up and enjoy. He provided plenty of direction so that we got great pictures, but without being too commanding or anything. I was honestly kind of dreading these pictures (my fiance convinced me to do it), but Dmitry made it a really pleasant and enjoyable experience. We also ended up with pretty crappy weather (cold and drizzling), and he was all about making sure that we were happy and even an hour into the shoot, was offering to reschedule if we were at all uncomfortable with the weather. Oh yeah, and the pictures came out great! read more

Dmitry is a pleasure to work with! He is shockingly responsive to calls and emails and was extremely personable during each correspondence. He was very honest and helpful when we were trying to decide on a photographer. His quote is comprehensive and there are no hidden fees. Thus far, we've only shot our engagement shoot but Dmitry was eager and seemed genuinely excited to get started. He came prepared with several location and pose ideas. Behind the camera, Dmitry is a professional. He directed us without being too pushy. He even spent extra time with us to get the shots we wanted. Dmitry had the photos edited and provided online access to us within 24 hours. We love the way they turned out. We highly recommend Dmitry and are looking forward to working with him on our big day! read more

Dmitry was recommended to us through our wedding planner and she could not have been more spot on! Dmitry did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. We were blown away by the quality of each. He did an excellent job making us feel at ease and posing us in ways that led to beautiful photos. Dmitry is beyond talented and has an eye for all types of settings. Our engagement session was in the fall, while our wedding was on a freezing day in February! We absolutely LOVED working with Dmitry. He is professional, friendly, dependable (he came early and stayed late at our wedding-making sure he didn't miss a single thing!) and extremely good at what he does. You would be making a mistake to not have Dmitry photograph your special event. read more

Dmitry is one of the most talented event photographers I have ever seen. In looking for my wedding we looked at all types of photographers at multiple price ranges and styles. Fortunately, Dmitry did some of of our wedding pictures and we were not disappointed. He has a wonderful sense of important moments at an event and the right time and way to capture them. Every shot is a keeper!! Dmitry really knows how to capture the moment. He knows exactly what cues to give to get a unique but naturally photo. My husband and I have had a few family sessions with him since our new little was born this past April. He was able to get great shots even when we were a little cranky. Some of my favorite ones are when I didn't even know he was taking a picture. I wish I would have had him take our wedding photos. His work is one of kind. I would highly recommend him to anyone for any occasion who is looking for artistic, priceless shots. read more

He graciously volunteered to take photos and video performances of all the participating tykes, and made them available to parents without charge! The quality of the photos were outstanding. I had Dmitry's photobooth set up at my high-school prom, it was a blast! It's such a great addition to the environment of a school dance because it gives us something fun to do other than be on the dance floor. The selection of props was huge which really made it enjoyable. On top of all of this, all of the photos AND slow-motion video are sent to the students with an option to download any photo you want for free. Would highly recommend! read more
