Our family enjoyed using the Community Room! There were so many amenities, a lovely property right next to a park, and a spacious room to meet. Jan and Mike were so nice to work with and provided prompt and detailed communication as we tried to plan our special day. We needed Mike while we were there, and he was came almost immediately. Not sure why the other reviews are not recommended but they are all positive as is this one. First the hall is affordable (almost ridiculous what the nearest venue charging-$800 for this hall versus $6000 for the motel). Second the room is huge and holds a lot of people comfortably. The parking lot also is not cramped. Third, the place sits above the river and the site is picturesque. The people are easy to work with and services like caterers are not only available but excellent. We have rented the smaller "community room" several times for birthday parties and it is perfect. read more

I honestly don't think you can beat this hall for wedding receptions or large parties. They have so many items available to make decorating easy...pre-lit arches and trellises, a set of distressed glass doors, small and large tables, stepladders and lighting that can be adjusted for dinner and then dancing. They even have a spinning disco ball! The parking lot is huge with spaces close to the building and the hall is handicapped accessible. They seem to have everything you need for your wedding or event...even highchairs. I'm planning on renting the smaller room in the back next month for a birthday party for my hubby. It also has a bar and restrooms and will be a lot cozier than the main hall. Several years ago, my kids had a surprise party for me in this space and it was perfect. read more
