She was hired to help with a very simple modification to an existing divorce decree, between two agreeable parents. Somehow, this moronic attorney botched the whole job when she mixed up the parents' names and rights; she named the mother the 'father' and the father the 'mother', then proceeded to waste her time rewriting a divorce decree that was already in place (NOT what she was hired to help with). As a result, her document was deemed useless, and she refused return the $2,500.00 that was paid to her for services that were never properly rendered. I've witnessed her yell at her employees; throw her purse at an assistant; and her office keeps moving from various locations throughout the county...not stable! Not professional! Not reliable!!!

Every family and divorce is different. My review cant promise that if you hire Robert you will have that result but I can write the review I wish I had been able to read. Robert heard and validated the things that were most important to me. He was honest about my chances in being successful in getting those things and promised to advocate for them even though it would not be easy. AND he did! I didn't get the parenting that I set out for BUT with Robert's skill set I was able to compromise on the next best parenting plan for my family and it is one that am very happy with. Robert advocated for the things that weren't as important to me because HE knew they were important. He was able to compromise on a settlement that was beyond what I would have ever expected or asked for for myself. Without Robert, I would have sold myself very short. Robert truly was a sound voice of reason from beginning to end. When he tells you not to worry, it's his job and he will take care of it, he will. He did not let anyone walk all over me, he advocated for what was fair. Robert will tell you from the beginning he doesn't want you to go broke through this process, he's was very conscientious about making this as affordable as possible. His goal from the beginning was to settle in mediation and we did. There are no winners in divorce and it's really not a situation to gloat about but I walked away 10,000 percent confident that I made the right choice when I hired Robert and his firm (thank you Shelby and Sara for your hard work!) Being THAT confident in who you hire is what you want isn't it?

The one document he did prepare on my behalf was poorly prepared, margins had not been adjusted and there was a spelling error where the certificate of service line is - the word "date" was spelled wrong (other spelling/grammer errors were mine). I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau and make a formal complaint because he kept my money without doing the job. I have emails and a call history I can use to prove he requested the money via Zelle twice for services he didn't provide. There was one call I made to him after 5pm October 14th and one call after 6pm September 25th (the day I hired him without a contract because I believed Yelp reviews were likely accurate). I've reviewed the call history and we only had telephone communications on 11 days since I hired him.
