Robert heard and validated the things that were most important to me. He was honest about my chances in being successful in getting those things and promised to advocate for them even though it would not be easy. AND he did! I didn't get the parenting that I set out for BUT with Robert's skill set I was able to compromise on the next best parenting plan for my family and it is one that am very happy with. Robert advocated for the things that weren't as important to me because HE knew they were important. He was able to compromise on a settlement that was beyond what I would have ever expected or asked for for myself. Without Robert, I would have sold myself very short. Robert truly was a sound voice of reason from beginning to end. When he tells you not to worry, it's his job and he will take care of it, he will. He did not let anyone walk all over me, he advocated for what was fair. Robert will tell you from the beginning he doesn't want you to go broke through this process, he's was very conscientious about making this as affordable as possible. His goal from the beginning was to settle in mediation and we did. There are no winners in divorce and it's really not a situation to gloat about but I walked away 10,000 percent confident that I made the right choice when I hired Robert and his firm (thank you Shelby and Sara for your hard work!)
