Buyer beware!!! If you're purchasing a spec home in Avalonia, specifically the Monterey II Model, the quartz in the bathroom comes glued at the seams where the faucets are located which can cause leaks as time goes on. I've been speaking with the attorney at Viera Builder's and they find this sup-par work acceptable! They have discontinued the LG composite quartz which they're advertising in their model home and they're substituting it with Pompeii quartz which doesn't come in a 131" jumbo slab so they give you chopped up quartz glued together at the sinks and hope you won't call them out on it. They're messing with the wrong person! I'm taking them to small claims court! Completely unacceptable!!! read more

I have several videos and pictures that demonstrate the ongoing damage caused by water produced from the HCAC systems between my home and the neighbors on the left side of my home that is roughly 20 feet distance apart between my home and my neighbor's home, the excessive overlapping of water from both systems, along with both sprinkler systems, and natural precipitation has made this area unusable, created a massive swamp, mold and safely hazard for our families and pets, and the builders refuse to fix the area and install a drain. On the right side of my home, they have begun new construction, and now have installed both another HVAC and a trash can area for the new home less than 20 feet from my door step, creating the same issues. Both of these deceptive practices have brought safely and resale concerns , issues that were not brought to my attention during the sale , or construction of my home. the builders since my home was constructed. It appears that the design of the house is responsible for this issue. Upon reviewing my VA inspection, I was not find any disclosure of this problem by the builder in my VA inspection. Furthermore, I have spoken with my neighbor and other residents who are facing similar concerns, they shared the builder also neglect to make repairs for them, for the same issues, It seems like a matter that should be addressed on a class-wide basis, and yet the builder has chosen to neglect this systemic and negligent issue . This damn company controls all of the tangibles, so they are in charge of everything. They try to say they are a premium builder, but I have been in new builds from other builders, and I would personally say they were better. My issue is that this should be a well built home. This fuckers cut corners at every point. I have had many neighbors that have had to have the sewer snaked out, as these ass hats decided to install 3" sewer line instead of the the country standard of 4". This is not something homeowners can change, as it is in the poured slab. These fuckers saved five dollars a house to fuck everyone. Not sure old man Duda had this in in plan, but the Duda family is here to build sub-par homes and make great profit. They own all of the land, so it is crazy to think they will do the right thing. The Duda family is very much in control of all of this, and they could give two shits , there is why I say we may need to do a class action law suit read more

Horrible customer service. When they make the sale everything sounds amazing Follow through and communication sucks. Sloppy work with getting what you chose onto your contract. You need to go over it with a fine tooth comb. Once you find the mistakes good luck getting them corrected. Sloppy work no communication. Stay away. read more

Worst decision I made was buy a viera builders house. Been 2 months, still can't move in, shoot I can't even lock my doors. They don't care they have my money so I get the whole I'm so sorry to hear this don't worry we will fix it. They come to fix one thing and cause 5 more issues. RUN do NOT BUY from them. Experience with Viera Builders: Me and my wife wanted to build a home, so we engaged Ian in the Kerrington sales offices. He was polite but that was all, we wanted information on how our 420,000 home would look in respect to the two adjacent homes and he basically told us they would not provide this information. Also the home was 2,442 square foot and I come to find out that they only put a 3.5 ton ac unit. Now that would be fine if you were in Michigan but to place this in a home in south florida is crazy and poor engineering (ask any ac expert) We asked him if we could pay for an upgrade to a 4 ton which is the correct sized unit for this region and he basically told if we would upgrade to a Kerrington $450,000 and above we could have what ever we wanted, he made us feel very petty and was very condescending. So in essence you have to pay almost 500k to get a home built correctly. Needless to say we dumped him quickly. We would of bought a home from them if we can get something built with sound design and a sales man that understood not everyone that comes in their office is not a millionaire. We went in the ask about building a new home and the information we received was excellent. The sales person we spoke with was very polite and engaging. You could tell he knew the business. He told us build time was roughly around 10-12 months. Longer than we'd hoped for, but honest. Their model homes are beautiful and the quality looked good. We toured several homes under construction- to almost complete. We are hooked. The hardest thing for us is deciding on a plan that will best suit our growing family of four. I loved the community with all the parks- my kids are so excited. Plus, they will some have a clubhouse for their communities-with several swimming pools. Another thing, the school ratings in Viera are fantastic, another important thing for my husband and I. We are transplants from Virginia and think we will love this area. read more
