No AC but they give a fan, wasn't that bad honestly. The apartment was a really good size as well. We were expecting more of a hotel type of service where maids come and things are replenished. But it wasn't a big deal since we were only there a few nights. But I feel like if you're there for visiting London there are cheaper hotels a lot closer to the city of London than limehouse. Im giving it 4 stars because it's a great place to stay if you're a UK local, but not for tourism unless you're looking for just an apartment to stay in.

The place was at full capacity but we never saw more than one guest coming or leaving the building. However, the lift wad 2 out of order and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. There's a Tesco next door making it very convenient to buy cheap groceries, wine and water. A coffee shop (closes at 8pm) with delicious mocha) a few steps away. You can also rent bikes nearby, 2 minutes away from here. Close to Canary Wharf, O2 and Tower Bridge, Tower London. Friendly neighborhood, looks sketchy, but very safe to walk at night. My friends are letting agents and let's just say I and the council have dealt with rogue landlords before. These guys are the definition of rogue landlords. Their director has been in trouble for this before. Someone else mentioned this. I went to view some properties with them. One of them in Acton with 5 people living in it ( households) without I believe HMO licence and any fire safety. This again means that it is not legal. You can imagine after this what happens. I went to view another property with them again council. As you can see from their website most of their properties are council/ ex council. This leads me to believe that alot of them are being sublet without the councils knowledge. I have lived in properties where this has happened before and when the agent is busted everyone of course lost their deposits. Learn this if you are going to rent in London 1) This means that the 'contract' that you sign is just a piece of paper because the owner is either unaware that it is being sublet or is aware and will, along with the agent and their staff be prosecuted and fined by the council. 2) If the company is illegal again your contract is worthless but if they are prosecuted by the council for some reasons you can try to claim back all the rent you paid there. If you are reading this and live in one of the properties rented from them I would check with the council if your property is legal because otherwise you are paying rent to noone for nothing and I would get your deposit back asap. There are many reviews on here about City rooms keeping peoples deposits with bullshit reasons. I can vouch for this because I put a holding deposit down before I was more informed and they did a referencing check. It failed because of a CCJ. I was not aware they did a credit check as I have rented many times without this. The guy then emailed me saying 'I had changed my mind'. * Listed as a reason to not give back holding deposit. When I said everybody knows that's not true. He then said ' I had given false info' * Another reason listed to not give back holding deposit. Again this is not true. The truth is they take the money and run. Prices for renting in the capital are out of hand right now but the prices they post for their properties are exorbitant ( they then reduce them). They prey on people coming here and I believe they are also in the fake visa business. I am in the process of getting back my deposit. If you rent from them know that you are probably getting a ghost for your money ( even if it can be friendly) and your money will be a ghost . You will receive a fictitious contract and a fictitious tenency. Sidenote, I have witnessed these agents getting chased down by the law. This company is bogus.

Moved into the brand new Caspian Apartments at CQ London last month. So far:…read more 1. Hot water has gone out for over 24 hours multiple times 2. Shower was leaking - had to wait 5 days for a fix 3. Sink was leaking - had to wait over a week for a fix. 4. One of my showers in our 2 bedroom has only freezing and scalding water settings - no temperature control. Still waiting (and have been for over a week) for a fix. 5. CQ planned a group event (mainly so they could get happy pictures of the residents to use in their propaganda) and then put up a huge fence around the grassy area where the event should have been held - we met in a crappy parking lot instead! 6. Same fence being put up overnight without warning, I had to haul 7 extremely heavy IKEA boxes a whole block to get around the fence instead of the 50 ft it should have been to my front door. The owner's manual is the best - depending on how severe the "defect" is you are reporting (aka, no hot water, leaking sink), you may have to wait between 5 and 20 business days for a resolution! Are you freaking kidding me! Every day, someone new moving in has to write a sign and paste it to the front door asking their BT engineer to call them, since it takes over a week to set up the intercom to your apartment from the front gate (if you can even find the instructions for that, which are likely not included in your instruction manual)! I will say that the marketing suite and front desk at Iona tower next door have both been helpful with accepting packages and also with holding keys for us that they can use to let repair people in. Until A2Dominion (the builders) set up a policy here that actually treats the owners and tenants with a little bit more respect, I would definitely advise potential investors to look around elsewhere before putting their money into this mess.

I rented my first Shoreditch flat through this relatively small but efficient and knowledgeable real estate agency and would definitely use Peach again. The staff have generally either lived in the area or do so at present and are particularly knowledgeable about Shoreditch's Victorian built Boundary Estate where many local residents rent one and two bed properties. All in all a charming little real estate agency that goes some way to dispelling the myth that all real estate agents are cowboys.

The two men that work at Peach are so helpful and a complete breath of fresh air, after dealing with local agencies such as Foxtons up in Old Street. It is a small, local estate agent that knows the surrounding areas extremely well. I would thoroughly recommend using them, or at least speaking to them before renting a property in the area, as they gave us a fair bit of useful information.
