Why? Because you can have a great, healthy meal for less than £5, and there's not many places that will do that in London. It's vegetarian, and although I'm not and there are non-veg options, I stick veg when I'm there, because it is so tasty. My favourite? A chilli iddly to start (a fried dumpling served with peppers, onion and chilli) followed by a Masala Dosa, all for about £4. You could almost forgive this place for being a tourist trap except that it's quite out of the way and not the sort of place you'd get a lot of passing footfall. I genuinely don't get how they survive! Perhaps my experience was unique, but I wasn't the only one who felt this way. I went with a group of colleagues and we all agreed the place wasn't very good at all. It really did seem like it didn't matter what dish you chose from the buffet; they all tasted the same.
