I've used the services of detailers throughout Fresno over the years. But I must say, that George at the Show Room has topped them all. He removed the hard water stains from a badly adjusted sprinkler and made the hood of my '06 Chevy Silverado look like glass. When he lifted the hood to show me his work, I must say I was pretty amazed to see that it looked as clean as it did the day I drove it off the lot. He was able to get the stain that was left by a reckless grandchild out of the backseat without a trace of it ever being there. I just can't say enough about the job he performed on my vehicle. I've since taken my daughters car, and my mothers car to George. He restored the headlights on both vehicles back to new again. I've also sent numerous co-workers to him. Dr Z does a BEAUTIFUL job on the cars however he does tend to forget his agreements. And if you remind him of the agreement he made with you he gets upset. If you do decide to go to him have him right a paper stating what he has agreed to and have him sign it. That way he cannot go back on his word and change the price. I would like to suggest that he work on his temper and he may get a lot more customers. If he has trouble remembering agreements he could create his own contract for cases like this. I think It could help him a lot. read more

I was so excited after dropping off my truck who a painter had done the worst job I've ever seen when I picked up my truck it brought tears to my eyes. I could not believe how he was able to clean this truck up and make it smooth from all the overspray. people now ask me who painted your truck? And I tell them you don't want to know .you want to know Dr Z he's the one that made it look like this .so if you have a vehicle that you love and you're tired of seeing the imperfections I highly recommend that you put it in this man's hands and you will be amazed at what you get back. One thing I have learned is check your odometer before dropping your vehicle off they like to use your vehicle to run personal errands when I found this out I was very upset. read more

I had a great experience with George. Detailing for motorcycle is hard to come by, at least a good one. I was very reluctant to take in my Yamaha R6. The results were nothing short of amazing. It actually looked LIKE NEW. He wiped down everything on my motorcycle. Everything shines. At the end he gave me a few bottles of cleaning solution and fine fiber cloths to maintain my bike in that condition. Thank you for a job well done. read more

I purchased from Amazon Local, One Hand Wash for Car, SUV, Van, Truck or Sedan Includes: Wax, Vacuuming, Interior Cleaning and Protectant. Car was very dirty, all he did was spray and wipe. Came in dirty and left dirty, inside and out. Terrible! I left there and went to Surf and Turf, which did a much better job. Don't waste your time on Doctor Z. Worst customer experience I've ever had. My first experience was WONDERFUL. He did a beautiful job detailing the inside and outside of a truck. It was so good we decided to get a year membership on our Honda Pilot and had planned to do that for the truck as well. What he initially told me was that when you pay for the detail you get three additional cleanings. One cleaning per month, for the next three months. Mistake number 1 on my part was not getting a contract. After we paid for a year service on the second vehicle everything went south. It would take me at least three solid hours to give a step by step about what happened, how it happened, and there wouldn't be enough space; so for the sake of simplicity, I will just define my experience instead. On EVERY occasion that we brought our vehicles back under this verbal agreement, he would do less and less and go back on his word and what was included. He was belligerent, rude and condescending. The second time this happened he gave my husband and I an hour long sermon/lecture about Christianity and how he was treating us with so much love, but all the while was attacking us an our character. Giving us a lecture about love and grace was so inappropriate in this situation because he was breaking the terms of the contract. In the end he never gave us one of our cleanings on one vehicle. He refused to wash it because he said it was out of the three month period but we had tried on numerous occasions to bring it in and he cancelled those spots because he was too busy and said it was not problem to bring it in later. Then when it pushed the last cleaning into the 4th month as a result, he refused to cleaning it. (for this I did get $50 back for after demanding he make the situation right. My husband and I had intended to give the money back to him if he had just kept the terms of the contract on our other vehicle. We were assuming that the problem was arising because he was stressed out about lack of business because he mentioned that several times in his lecture to us. We didn't want to take money from him that he needed more than we did, but since this was starting to become a pattern and we'd paid him upfront for a service that he kept going back on, we wanted to have some protection) Unfortunately, he did not keep his word and the terms of the agreement on the second vehicle (which were exactly the same as the first). In fact, he kept telling me I paid for a different service even though I paid the exact same price as I did the for the first vehicle and we made if VERY clear at that time what I was paying for. He has been extremely difficult to work with, and when I asked for a contract he was resistant to giving one. So the second vehicle he refused to vacuum or clean the inside of on the last half of our cleanings. I have never paid to have someone only clean the outside unless I'm doing a quick run through a gas station wash. I did not drive my car across town and pay a professional detailer to only wash the outside. His argument is he only cleaned the inside the first two times because he was being nice not because it was included. When I told him he specifically told me any spots or stains on the seats get better with each cleaning each time I bring it back, he tried telling me that was the other vehicle and I didn't pay for that on this vehicle. Basically, he was all over the place-never stood by what he said, and in the end we lost out on the total and complete cleanings for both our vehicles. We won't be taking our vehicles back to him even tho he is capable of doing beautiful work because he's just too stressful to work with. You can't count on him to keep his word. I would highly suggest anyone who gets there car done there for more than one paid cleaning at a time, get a contract and be VERY specific about what your paying for, what that includes, and what happens if cleanings get pushed back because of his busyness. read more
