I love this place! Everyone here is very professional and friendly. The decor is adorable and right when you walk in the door the stylists make you feel very welcome. Every time I see a client walk out of this salon they look amazing! Nikki is incredible with extensions!!! She will give you the most natural transition from short and thin hair to length and volume that I cannot live without her anymore! I'm a singer/model and she has helped me to look confident and fabulous on so many of my shoots, performances and in everyday life. I'm the type that loves to switch it up and no matter what I want to do, Nikki knows exactly how to make it happen! She is also super talented with color! Last year I wanted fire engine red and it was perfect. A few months later I wanted to be more subtle and she toned it down to give me the most unique color I've ever seen, plus added extensions, I felt like I rockstar! Every time Nikki does my hair I am flooded with compliments, my confidence is at an all time high and I get so much more work! I've been wearing extensions for 10 years and have been to many specialists. I'm not one to write a review, but I am one to look at reviews so I figured in this case i felt I must share. Nikki is honestly by far the most amazing specialist out of all the years I've been getting my hair done and I am extremely picky. I get the I TIP extensions. My extensions never slip until needed to be moved up and most of the time I'm loosing quit a few before I have to go back in to get them retightened,they just feel so secure and I feel absolutely amazing. The blend is by far the best I have ever had. She's a perfectionist and takes her time not rushing to make you feel the best you have ever felt,she's also the sweetest person I have ever met! I went to showdown for the first time this past saturday, and i left a happy client thanks to Antonio Luis (Tony). I never have realized how important it is for a stylist to be so precise and focused while trimming and styling hair until i came here. I am the type of person who is VERY VERY VERY picky of who i let cut my hair, and i couldnt be happier to have let Antonio Luis cut and style mine. He is great at explaining and walking you through the process, and even gives you style tips! I had no idea on how to blow dry and style my own hair with only a roll brush and blow dryer, and he gave me a few pointers in which i plan on trying! Antonio Luis really demonstrates wonderful customer service and does an excellent job in listening to your concerns and needs. I have been coming here for over a couple of years and Nikki is amazing with my hair. She always seems to color it exactly how we discussed. I never leave disappointed. So happy this place opened up near me! After several bad hair cuts in the area, I would always find myself driving to my friends salon in Costa Mesa, which is way overpriced even with a friendly discount, because I just couldn't find anyone around here who could do my hair! I have been to this place twice and both times had my hair cut by Suzie. She is super nice and extremely talented! Both times she took her time with me and made sure that I got the exact look that I wanted! The first time they gave me a glass of wine but I don't know if they do that anymore since it wasn't offered the second time. Oh well, i'm just relieved and happy that I finally found my hair salon. All the ladies that I met at the salon are so sweet! I went last weekend to get a haircut from Suzie and it turned out super cute! I was going to get my low lights done by her as well, but I ended up waiting and last Friday, I just decided to get my hair done. Tiffany did my color and I LOVE it! For me, it was a bit pricey because I usually pay less than $15 for a haircut/style, but I believe it's worth it for the $20 that I paid because: 1. They take extremely good care of you 2. They are lovely human beings, entertaining, kind, and generous! They gave me a water bottle when I was thirsty and I didn't even ask them for it, they were the ones who offered it to me! 3. Great service, just tell them what you want and they will do it. Not only that, but they know updated styles and good looks for your face shape, etc. I recommend this place! Also, there is a stamp card where you can get $10.00 off after 6 visits I think, and they have deals weekly! Come check this place out you will love it. I got my hair cut at this salon in December 2013 and was happy with the haircut. The salon is adorable and the stylists are very friendly and talkative. I would give it 5 stars, but I'm going to have to remove one because I tried to schedule another appointment on Sunday when the salon should have been open. I called at noon with no answer, left a message, and called back every hour for the next three hours and still didn't hear back from them. I ended up going to a different salon and will probably not return to this one. It's been 3 days and still nobody has returned my message. read more
