We were introduced to our horses and given instructions on how to ride, which was pretty comprehensive. I haven't met a lot of horses, but the one I was assigned, named Emmet, was exceptionally cooperative and calm. The landscape throughout the tour was beautiful. Because the fields are preserved for the horses to roam and the rides, there were a lot of wild deer that felt safe hanging out there as well.
