Song selection is okay but they allow you to use WeChat to scan a code and add songs that way and we were able to find most songs that way (English and Chinese across multiple decades). Happy hour is $25 an hour and includes service charge. Standard happy hour non alcoholic drink included. We got sprite (canned) and lemon honey water, both were good. Also got fried cuttlefish ball which was not fried, and the popcorn chicken. Food items were 7/10 average. Not super tasty but satisfying if you're hungry and don't want to head out for food even though lots of food options in the plaza. Overall had a blast. Clean rooms, able to sing all the songs we wanted, sound proof rooms so we never heard other rooms, and good service made the afternoon fun and enjoyable.

I missed it! I should have come earlier. The song selection is wide, from old to current. I found the songs that I know (lol) easily. 90mins went so fast. We had to leave due to parking situation ( street parking on Yonge was max 90 mins) but we could co longer. We should come back. Only thing was it was unclear as to how to set vocal range to fit my own. Anyways it was a great stress buster!

The song selection here is quite up-to-date. Their language selection includes English, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Tagalog. Entry: You enter the door that has the 'Kim's Hair Studio' sign on top. Then walk upstairs, then walk along the hall and Echo Coin Karaoke is on your right, room 202. Pricing: I only went here for coin karaoke, it is $1 per song, you pay at the service desk and they then assign you to a room/booth #. It is $20 per hour. Please note, I went with two friends which made us a group of 3. Service/atmosphere: The staff there outlined how it works and the cost. They also showed us to our booth, opened the door letting us in, and asked us if we needed help navigating the karaoke remote. The booth for a small # of people is enough space for a maximum of 4 people standing or 3 people to all sit. I recommend no more than 3 people for the small booth. There are 2 mics in the small booth and they provide disposable mic covers for each mic. I would come back here again!!

The English song selection is fairly strong (to comparable places) and I think they have some newer songs on the digital (albeit confusing) remote. (Likely because they use YouTube as their system rather than any specific licensed one - which first of all, slay. Second of all, I prefer this because the typical licensed ones usually don't have all the songs you want / you can pick songs in literally any language as long as the karaoke version is on YouTube!) The drinks were actually made well and not too pricey from what I can remember (which, let's be honest... isn't much LOL) but the bathrooms and overall place were generally clean for a spot like this. I'd come back to sing my heart out again!

If I'm going to be in downtown Toronto and I'm going to have a big group, I always pick Bar+ if they're available on the day I'm looking for (and if it's not a Monday -- they're closed on Mondays which I found out by just trying to roll up to the spot!) Bar+ makes group karaoke easy because they have various sizes of rooms, a wide selection of songs (with some recent songs too!) If you're really worried about song choices, there's an app you can download to your phone in which you can browse their entire catalogue whether you're there or not. Bonus, the app also acts as a way to have more than 1 device to add songs into the queue once you're in a room! PRO TIP: if the song listed has the "MTV" tag, it usually. means it's literally just the music video with no lyrics. The other reason Bar+ makes group karaoke easy is that you can go out to the bar to order your own alcohol, or order bottles (of soju) to bring into the room to share, and you pay each time you go out to the bar. One thing to call out -- DON'T throw your bottles into the trash cans in the rooms! The bottles get collected by the staff for recycling! I think there's a service button on the same tablet you input your songs, but I'm pretty sure you can also go out to the bar and ask them to collect empty bottles.

The room couch had holes, unsure if clean to be honest. The touchscreen was grimy so luckily they had hand sanitizer; cleaned that up. The staff member didn't tell us how to use the screen but we just figured it out. The song selection is definitely a lot less than other KTVs I've been in.
