Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. Popped in on the way back from a cold day out at Alton Towers…read more We got a lovely warm welcome, were quickly seated near a roaring fireplace and settled in for a great meal accompanied by some very well kept Hartington IPA. The pub is cosy and friendly, and in a great location for walkers and cyclists on the Tissington trail. We'll definately be heading back soon (to the Royal Oak not Alton Towers, which is another story)!
