First of all, I didn't use the family restroom and got to explore the regular women's room. Which much to my surprise was super clean and nice. Next time I'm here I'm taking my daughter into this restroom and avoiding the family restroom all together. This really set the tone for me and then we tried the fried pies! I looked them up on our way home (while I was enjoying my pie) and it turns out it's a family run business out of Oklahoma that has a few shops in independently run gas stations around the midwest and great plains. I loved their story, and the pies were so fun. Very tasty. I won't say it's the best pie I've ever had, but the novelty of it and the freshness of getting it right there made for a super fun roadside stop.
