Bon Voyage Media provides you with a PDF map of all the attractions the tour takes you through which is useful for those who are linear in their trip planning and also for those who just want a general idea of where the attraction(s) is located prior to arriving at their destination. This is a great tool to utilize so that you can gain enough insight to decide what attraction(s) you would like to visit before you tour a specific city. There is an audio file for each attraction listed on the PDF map. The audio files contain a well-educated and very entertaining narrator who provides the following information for each attraction; history of how that specific attraction came about, who established it and what inspired them to do so, and where one can go to eat during the visit. The days and hours of operation are also detailed in each audio file. The main thing I liked about the Bon Voyage City Tour of San Francisco is that the narrator definitely described exactly what the visitor is getting for their hard earned money at each attraction the tour takes you through. Always nice, funny and courteous and most importantly always available. I have scheduled many trips ahead of time and the driver always arrived early, never late. Same for airport pickup. I never stress about it, I know someone will be there to great me even if my flight is late. They will of course charge you more but will wait. I also called at the last minute a few times for a pick up or drop off at the airport and they always were able to accommodate me. The cars may not be the newest models but they are always clean, I always feel safe and you cannot beat the reliability!

Average Metro North Train Station…read more Been using this location for my Metro North (Harlem Line) use since the late 80's. Not too much has changed other than some cosmetic differences on the platform. The best modification was the digital board they added with the schedule (Grand Central bound side only) - relying on the garbled speakers always sucked. At least the train fare went to something decent.....because it doesn't go to the actual rail service or their schedules. Inside is drab and blah. Sometimes it smells, sometimes it doesn't. I never bothered with the store/eatery inside or any of the overpriced vending machines. They have 2 ticket machines inside, but probably need 2 more since the IQ challenged sometimes tend to take a much longer time to operate the simple machine. There is a booth inside with an agent sometimes, but for anyone in the early morning or evening would be out of luck. There is some slight parking about a block from station, but the area isn't an area I'd want to leave a car at night. At night, sometimes shady characters can be inside or outside the station. During any time here, there are also some strange people.....but that's everywhere. There's one thin stairwell (one stairwell for each side) for exiting passengers and depending on how crowded the train is, it could be a few minutes before you can exit. There is a cab stand across the street and the cab drivers will be on top of most exiting train riders, but I guess it's their job. There's not much room for cars to wait for people they're picking up. There is the 7 bus across the street for the station - but much like the Metro North itself, the bus can be late at times. There are much better stations and much worse stations, but this isn't too bad.
