Parking can make things a little tricky, but you won't need to walk for more than 10-15 mins from your spot to access the beach. Beach access is $10 a head, which may seem steep but I think is pretty average for beaches nowadays. The sand was nice, the beach staff was friendly, and the water was SO clean. We even spotted a couple of seals. Will go back!

Even with the sun setting, the water was surprisingly comfortable and we were able to swim without freezing too badly. There's also a convenient bathhouse on site, and a restaurant just as you enter the parking lot. Definitely planning to come back on a hot summer day and soak in the sun.

Both sides of the small sandy beach are very rocky almost Cliff like. This is the type of beach if you want to get away from everything and everybody it's definitely the place to hide out for a day and enjoy Mother Nature. If you like to explore bring some really good rock climbing shoes as the rocks are slippery and dangerous make sure you do not climb alone. Remember if you do not have a resident parking sticker there is absolutely no parking for blocks and blocks however with a resident sticker there are seven parking spots that's right only seven. If you're lucky enough to come here you can enjoy the view from four park benches located on the grassy area overlooking the beach. For the dog lovers please leave your loved ones at home as no dogs are allowed on this beach it is strictly enforced. I love Canoe Beach as it is one of the last beaches on the North Shore that you can count on nobody being there when you arrive. You will have a private beach all to yourself. So please remember if you plan on climbing on the rocks have somebody with you because they are slippery and dangerous. This is a great beach to enjoy a sunrise or sunset. The local police usually will not bother you on during a sunrise but they will ask you to leave as the sun sets especially if you're parked illegally. Canoe Beach easily gets awarded 5 Stars ‼

I found out about this beach from friends that live right by the beach & it's such a hidden gem! Super clean & the people here are SO FRIENDLY. I much prefer it over Nantasket Beach in Hull & it's not as far as the Cape, so don't have to endure the Cape traffic.

Very calm beach ONLY THING IS, avoid going in the month of July, OR be very careful of the greenhead flies! They are everywhere here during that month & their bites hurt lol. It is the Gravelly Point of Boston. Why? Gravelly Point (a park in Arlington where parkgoers can see planes land into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport literally over their heads), has planes. Constitution Beach has plane taking off and landing right in front of you. Gravelly Point has trains, with the CSX RF&P Subdivision and Long Bridge walking distance. Constitution Beach has the Blue Line on the T running underneath your feet. I also like the pedestrian bridge that looks like a series of waves cresting and falling into the ocean. Something about a fall beach makes it all the more prettier...
