Shoreline Park, in Tiburon CA, is not really a full amenities park. It is more of a green lawn and walking trail along the bay with jaw dropping views of Angel Island, and Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco skyline in the distance. Since Tiburon is home to a ferry station and two sailing clubs, you can see ferries motoring to San Francisco and Angel Island leaving rippling waves behind them and sailboats gliding along the water. The park and the walking path stretches from Main Street Tiburon to Elephant Rock. The Railroad & Ferry Depot museum is halfway between. The walking path is all cement; smooth and flat. There are no public restrooms along path. The museum has limited hours and admission is $5. But it is a worthwhile stop since they have historical information boards outside the building. The board details the rich history of the building and area. There is no parking along the park. The closest parking is the day use parking lot off Paradise Drive opposite Main Street. read more

A very nice park along the shoreline in Tiburon!!! This place seems to be popular with tourists, people picnicking, or coming and going to Angel Island on the ferry. There is a small museum here also, but it closes early. It's also a good place to walk off the dinner from some of the nearby restaurants. But, it's really scenic here, with all the ferries coming and going, along with Angel Island looming in the background. read more

It's so beautiful to take a walk here enjoying the views of the bay and the city. There are many benches but it's nice to set a chair up on the grass to read and people watch. The ferry is close by which goes to Angel Island or the city. It's ideal when it's really sunny and warm and can get crowded on those days. In fact, since it's so close to the ferry it's a great place to come when it gets too foggy in the city and you need a bit of sunshine. read more

This is where people wait for their tables at Sam's or where they pause after getting off the Angel Island Ferry. And why the hell not? This narrow patch of manicured greenery has a wonderful panoramic views of San Francisco skyline as well as Sausalito, the Golden Gate Bridge, and of course, Angel Island. It's at the very end of Tiburon Blvd and extends along the shore to Elephant Rock (review: https://bit.ly/3k4B4rr). Not a bad idea to visit the nice town of Tiburon, enjoy some good food & take in views of the city. They have a historic railroad site that's free to see in the little museum. Dog friendly town & a lot of cute boutiques & photo ops. read more

Nice and simple park along Paradise Drive in Tiburon...a very small and narrow park. There is limited parking close by but then this park is not crowded when we came. There are a view benches to bask in the beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was picture perfect with sail boats and the bridge. It would have been better if there was more sun then fog. A few people fish here as you are also close to the pier and Ark Row Shopping Center. We saw lots of small 2-3 inch crabs on the rocks! I also saw that they provide poop bags for your pets, too. Whenever I come here, I can't help but hum & whistle Otis Redding's "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" (even though that song was written a few miles away in Sausalito). It only seems fitting that this park is located along a road called Paradise Drive. The Bay views here are indeed heavenly. This area caters to hikers, bikers, tourists, locals, families, love birds... pretty much everyone. Word to the wise: it can get pretty crowded here on a sunny Summer afternoon. My favorite thing to do is come here with a sandwich and picnic on the lawn or park bench while overlooking the SF skyline, Angel Island, and all the incoming/outgoing boats. Sunsets here can't be beat and totally Instagram worthy. And when the sun finally sets, there are plenty of dining + sipping options in downtown Tiburon, including: Servino's, Sam's, and Luna Blu. It is just a small strip of green grass - only about a block long - with the Tiburon Railroad-Ferry Museum Building right in the middle of this little park. Open on Sunday & Wednesdays. Small, but beautiful park adjacent to downtown Tiburon. Only a block-long strip of grass and sidewalk path, if placed anywhere else it would not elicit much excitement. But plop it down in Tiburon facing the San Francisco Bay and you've got something! I like that there's an ample supply of park benches along the sidewalk path but look over the Bay toward the Golden Gate Bridge and Angel Island. We enjoyed a park bench lunch with gorgeous views - the best things in life truly *are* free! We sauntered along the path and ended up downtown, having fun browsing around. The Organic Ice Stream shop is worth a visit, definitely. If coming by ferry, just take the sidewalk path to the right when getting off the ferry. We came by car, and passing downtown, just before you head up into the hills, the Railroad and Ferry Museum is the last structure on the right. We parked in the free one-hour parking behind the museum, which is open to all. Great place to hang out - and contemplate how lucky one is to be there! read more

Super pretty place to visit if you're in the area. It is simply and although its pretty small, you can get some nice photos here! There is very limited parking and from what I remember, there is 8-10 spots where you can park for an hour. There are paring lots a bit further down though! There are benches to view the shoreline and its a nice place to visit before or after a dinner! read more

Beautiful views, well tailored lawns, perfect for picnicking, relaxing and watching the bay including Angel Island, Sausalito, Belvidere, and Tiburon. Check out the train depot when it's open. It has a beautiful bottle of the Tiburon report from probably 100 years ago. The nice volunteers there will let children conduct the model train. Make sure you take a walk up the hill to Lyfords Tower. The tower is part of an old stone building that was built around the turn of the last century. The shoreline parkways the perfect place to chill out before or after your ferry ride to San Francisco or Angel Island. The park is also home to a number of festivals and other outdoor events. You could also go fishing off of elephant rock. Always fun for the kids. read more

I absolutely love this park and will argue til I'm blue in the face that it has one of the best views of the city (when it's not fogged in!). Beautifully maintained path, benches, and grassy space invite the public for strolls along the waterfront. Beware though - it can be VERY busy on a clear day! It's also a great spot to come if it's a scorcher of a day in the north bay 'cuz it's guaranteed to be at least 15 degrees cooler! Yay natural air conditioning! read more

This is a truly "Bay Area" experience... beautiful views, calm bay breeze, wonderful walking, biking, hiking, food, strolling, shopping. It's a beautiful and wonderful place to relax before a ferry ride to Angel Island, or back to the city... or to just stay there and miss ferry after ferry while letting the grass tickle your toes and you snuggle with someone special, a friend or a pup, or both! read more
