I have had aches and pains in the middle of my back for a long time. The ache was constant whether I was sitting or standing. I could not stand for any length of time. I experienced pain when I bent to my right. My back ached when I woke up in the morning. Maybe I needed a new mattress. I thought it was part of growing old. I started treatment and within 6 weeks the pain was gone. No more discomfort in the morning. No, I did not need a new mattress. I can bend without any problems. I can stand without pain for as long as I need to. As the sign in Dr. Marks' office says, "Pain is not a life style". I now go several times a month for maintenance. Thank you Dr. Mark.

I never felt rushed during my appointment, and the doctor really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and explain everything clearly. The entire office had a friendly and positive atmosphere, which made a huge difference. I really appreciated how attentive and informative everyone was throughout the visit. Dr…read more Kennedy went above and beyond to find out what was wrong with my youngest, it took a year but she kept pushing to find what was up. While Dr Kennedy left a few years ago we have continued to get stellar service and care. My sons (especially the youngest) require quick and dedicated care and not once has this office let us down. The fact that someone is ALWAYS on call is vital to us and not something you get at most Doctors offices these days. I've been told by a bunch of friends that they get told at their kids peditrician's office is "if it's not during office hours you have to go to the E.R." When you have a child with a rare condition that is not something you want to hear. As far as the not allowing a patient to come with non custodial parent or guardian. Only those who have legal custody have the authority to allow shots and other treatments. I'm sure this got started because a step parent or boyfriend/girlfriend of a custodial parent or a non custodial parent okayed something that the person with custody did not agree to. This is just like how you can't get a passport for your child unless each parent is there and okays it in person.

When we learned we were pregnant... we knew what we wanted our birth to be like…read more I was very clear from the beginning that our vision was to have a natural home birth. My partner was 100% on board and we spoke to a family midwife friend for advice. She recommended Birth and Beyond. I looked at their website and made an appointment. From my first meeting with Vicki I felt like I found what I was looking for. We communicated well, we understood each other and spoke the same language. Whenever I left my wellness visits I felt positive and cared for. I had confidence every step of the way that I was in good hands. Yes birthing is unpredictable so a few of my appointments had to be rescheduled because of births but it was no big deal. The back office personal was helpful and caring. They answered whatever billing questions or scheduling concerns I had. I found the group thorough and operated like a well-oiled machine. I liked the down to earth touch and the authentic styles of both Vicki and Cheri. They offer 3 mandatory meetings that both parents attend. These meetings are held with 5 or 6 other couples expecting babies and the meeting is chock full of Information about the process. It's a great forum to ask and receive answers to questions.
