I spent time around some of the old heads on KY and the curb in the late 70's and 80's before things began to change. I did not realize the impact and influence she would have on me in my adult life. She is an excellent seamstress, dressmaker and clothing designer all around. I also love the jewels that you will find in her shop. I have worked beside her as an advocate for the people as well as stood with her and tapped into her knowledge bank while she worked. If you have not crossed paths with her you have missed out on a gem of a human being for all people.

It's great to see these little stores selling their crafts compared to big box department stores. I'm always looking for a rare Japanese import Beatles album at these places. I never find it, sigh.. Prices are higher overall for everything but I did see a pair of coach shoes for $20. None of the display items are for sale, which is a shame. Some furniture pieces in the back, as well as departments in every category including pets and home improvement. Clothing was organized by item and size and was done very well. I wasn't impressed by their home decor, which was just muh. Prices deterred me for clothing, but I did find a nice pair of shoes from France for $6. Disappointed that nothing was vintage in any department. Lone staff was attentive and obsessed with cleaning. Highlight for me was the $2 plants at the counter.

The donations do have potental. First off if you see a cart grab it, there's no "formal" place to grab one and people just leave them everywhere. They have a limited supply to begin with. Secondly, if you don't like congestion, chaos, mayhem, screaming kids, rude customers don't step inside. You'll encounter all of the above. The children here are literally ferel, than you have the deliquent parents who try to parent by screaming across the store. Literally a boy was riding some sort of for sale scooter thing getting in everyone's way and screaming at the top of his lungs. No parent in sight. It's total noise pollution. The isles of clothes should be organized but aren't. Most are hanging off the hanger or on the floor, some racks are jammed packed so full you can hardly sort thru them. I didn't spend alot of time in this department but can imagine that their sorting process for weeding out stained items, etc is poor. The misc/housewares section is overloaded and overflowing unto the floor. The stuff is piled high on large kitchen metal racks, artwork is all over the floor. This area is totally congested with people, and you will need to dig and move stuff around, alot. Don't get me started on the toy department. It's where ferel children are left by parents who don't want to parent. I will say there is alot of stuff in the housewares, vintage and otherwise, just finding it, getting to it, and dealing with all the chaos around it makes it difficult. Oh, and the min price point at this Goodwill is $3.49. Single spoon? Yep, $3.49! The staff stand around and play on their phones and are of no assistance. I was really suprised at how unkept this Goodwill was, simplying because the area and surrounding thrift stores are the complete opposite.

Man I love anything Coach…read more To have a Coach Outlet at the Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City?? Did I just describe heaven? I have a pocket full of winnings and we all decide to go into Coach to shop. Walking in, the greeter? Looks like my wife's aunt. She welcomes us to Coach and I said I have to hug you. She didn't understand at first but I hugged her hello. Once inside, I zero in on the Men's Sale section. I see a Coach Sweat Jacket that I'm going to wear on vacation in a few weeks. And it's on sale which makes everything all right in the Bill S world. If you like the Coach brand and seeing what you like on sale? It's a win win.

We brought those items to Evearts, and they were incredibly kind, honest, and easy to work with. For each piece, they did their homework to make sure they were giving us a great deal by selling them. For instance, we had an old sterling silver flatware set. They explained that selling the item by the weight of the silver was a better option than trying to find an online reseller who bought individual pieces. Whenever I find more gold or silver items, I'll definitely be back at Evearts.

Prices are horrible $1000 for a suit is ridiculous.
