    Fried scallop dinner

Do not waste your time. Absolutely awful. $30 for a scallop dinner consisting of maybe 4 scallops cut in quaters, overcooked, a handful of fries, and some coleslaw. A picture is worth a thousand words. It's too bad because I wanted to like this place. I regret giving the tip for takeout.

    Crab cakes

Unfortunately during our visit it was pretty busy and short staffed. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, but I give these guys a 8/10. It was totally out of their control when it came to staffing. When we DID get our food, it was hot and fresh and SO yummy. I haven't had a better Reuben. The club had nice thick sliced Turkey and my youngest really enjoyed the popcorn chicken. Crabcakes did not seem to be homemade, but they were still pretty darn good. Nice little location and the staff were very nice. I'll be visiting again.

We stopped on our way back from sightseeing at the local lighthouses. We arrived about 40 minutes…read morebefore closing and the place was still pretty packed. Typical tourist decor with the fake fish on the wall, but cute nonetheless. We ordered, mussels, baked clams as our appetizer and then waited....for over 30 minutes! When the waitress finally did come back she apologized for the delay and said it was her fault (she didn't say what happened so I'm guessing she forgot to put the ticket it). But the whole time we were waiting she never once came back to check on us or our drink sitch- hubbys water was empty for awhile. Then our mains came out, I had to try the lobster and my hubs had the salmon. He ordered corn with it but got the carrots. No biggie he likes both. Again there was no follow up with us and we wanted dessert. He finally had to go up to the bar to get her attention so we could order it and take to go. Great food, a little lacking in the customer service. Great price!!

Was hiking on the island and wanted seafood. Unfortunately, I wanted to try lobster in a…read morerestaurant for the first time, but lobster season in the area was over.... Went with scallops, onion rings, coleslaw and a Bahama Mamma drink. The scallops were tough and I didn't feel they were as fresh as other places, especially Nova Scotia and down the coast in the states. The coleslaw was interesting and I liked it. The onion rings were the worst I have ever had - I get the feeling they don't make them themselves, they were stuck together, very hard batter and the oil was dripping off them. The Bahama Mamma was beautiful to look at and tasted really good, but though I was dehydrated, I really didn't feel the liquor in it at all. The views are very nice. I did lots of looking to see what the best restaurant was on the island and there was nothing that was outstanding. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing and there are better things to have gotten, but the coleslaw, drink and the home made aoili dipping sauce for the onion rings was REALLY tasty and something that one should try if you are eating here.
