I cannot stress how glorious this place is. I love going to antique stores and finding one of a kind treasures. This place has everything you can imagine from old records, vintage clothing and hats, to antique furniture and jewelry. I have never left empty handed, there is something for every price point. You will spend at least an hour probably more sifting through all of the booths. The staff are friendly and helpful. They take cash or credit.

I have been here prior to this prestigious yearly event tonight. Let me say that the owners and staff here are very accommodating and seem to go above & beyond. Having toured the place one can see a plethora of antiques displayed: furniture, art, photography, clothing, jewelry, glassware and vintage tools , too numerous to name all genres, great variety with reasonable prices. Tonight's occasion was the annual Wine and Chocolate Tasting event, sponsored by the Greater Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce (GOTCC). It was a lovely affair with various vendors and business entrepreneurs with Shore Antique Center as it's backdrop. And boy, did we eat and drink!!! Gourmet desserts, wine, beer, many types cheese and fruits, salads , pasta, ice cream were offered at various stations in the building at one's leisure. All for $15.00 per head. Stop in daily from 11-5 and get a "feel" for the place, you also might have something worthwhile to sell. As I said the staff is very accommodating and will work with you.

Great variety! Artwork by locals and friendly staff. Spent an hour looking over everythingread more

Salvage Angel is filled to the brim with everything under the sun from textiles, architectural…read moreelements, mid-century bar ware, etc. Seriously- don't wear a bulky coat to this place, you won't fit down the isles! The staff is bare bones & can be very busy at times with set design folks from the entertainment industry. They don't have the capacity to respond to inquiries via social media, so an in person visit is necessary (and lots of fun!). Be patient. Just do your digging and take photos of what you are interested in with your phone. The shop operates in a brocante style (like if you've ever watched Dick & Angel shop for architectural salvage in France on "Escape to the Chateau"). You show your photos to the shop owner Carolyn at the main checkout and she comes up with a price for your selections. I know it seems weird, but when you see the shop you will understand that there is no way in h*ll they could possibly put individual prices on everything. This is not Facebook marketplace and the pricing for some items will reflect this shop's proximity to NYC. The owner's passion and commitment to recycling and repurposing just about everything from a wide variety and time periods is admirable. I was able to find a perfect match for my 1890's porch door thanks to their collection of treasures. Payment is cash or Venmo.
