Shoprite is the Manx own supermarket that pretty much held a monopoly on the IOM until the likes of Tesco moved in a few years back - they have though really upped their game in recent times and I've always been impressed with the way they champion local produce as opposed to imported stuff, put it this way - their cheese, bread and meat items are all sourced from local butchers, bakers which is nice and refreshing.
This is the biggest branch on the island and very central - very popular with bikers in TT week too.
I also like the fact that they stock one of the biggest range of local Okells beers on the island and have a lot more bottled selection than the pubs which is great.
