One thing to take into account though is that if the boat doesn't sail you end up with very empty shelves and sometimes it's not worth going! This is the biggest branch on the island and very central - very popular with bikers in TT week too. I also like the fact that they stock one of the biggest range of local Okells beers on the island and have a lot more bottled selection than the pubs which is great. Not a bad place to shop at all!

One thing which is quite cool about this place is that it's surrounded by independent shops to the front and a giant Wilko to the back meaning you can leave your car in one place and then just walk between the stores if you want to grab everything and cover all bases. As usual it specialises in Manx produce from local butchers and cheese makers - plus all the fruit and vege is from the local Robinsons who stock a great range. Beer selection is ok - go for Okells if you're looking for the good stuff!
