Came back with a friend for a quick lunch and on this occasion I was disappointed. I ordered the…read moreeggs with Chorizo sausage and ordered extra sausage. It came with onions which wasn't detailed on the menu so I sent it back. To be fair they took it back and made me another order so they get stars for good service and doing the right thing which really pleased me!! Well done!! The downside though was the price which was £10.95 for a plate of eggs and sausage and VERY small bottle of water. I think it was worth £7-£8 but at ££10.95 is definitely overpriced. If the extra chorizo was on the plate it didn't feel like it. not sure what normal looks like but if it is half the sausages for £2 less then it is still overpriced. It was a couple of eggs and 2 cut up sausages. In fairness it was very tasty however the price for what was received left me feeling let down. Maybe this is an oddity on there menu but I will see when I come back again.

Their concept of pop up weekend dinners is fabulous, the week we were there they had smoked meats on the menu for Friday night, and Brazilian for Saturday night, I think 25 sterling fixed price per person for multi course meal. So far we have not been able to experience the pop up dinners but it sounds fantastic. Everything is so delicious, clearly a very talented culinary staff.

Went twice the past week and it is now one of my 3 or 4 favorite restaurants on the island. The…read morefood is very authentic, it feels like you are in a small Italian restaurant in Tuscany or somewhere off the tourist track. Not particularly fancy but the food is brimming with flavor. My first trip was for lunch, when I had the eggplant parmagian (they have a fancier name). Great flavor, tender eggplant. Not a huge portion but the right amount for lunch. I also had to try one of the cakes, went with the pistachio, and it was a slight disappointment (actually not a very strong pistachio taste). Brought the family back for dinner two days later and was not disappointed. My starter was great, local scallops (queenies) in a cognac butter sauce. Very tasty. My main was ravioli njuda, which was a chorizo ravioli. Flavors were great, surprised how spicy it was but not a problem. Most of the other meals were very good (pizza and pasta in particular) but what really earns the five stars is the service. Incredibly friendly, really trying to please (and authentic). I love places where they care about what they are doing, are passionate and are just good people. This seems like one of those places.
