This new location has been "upscaled". To enter the store you have to go through a quite luxurious looking and very tempting make-up department. For convenience, there's a Post Office and a good selection of frozen and refrigerated foods (and milk is probably the lowest price in town.) The store is super-clean and well organized and the check-out staff are always friendly and polite.
Late one afternoon, I had difficulty renewing a prescription here and the pharmacist and assistant appeared uncaring and disinterested. I had to call back to get the service that I needed the next day from a different pharmacist who was very friendly and helpful.
This store is open until 10 p.m. and while it's hard to understand the logic of a drugstore that closes that early in a community without an ER or late night walk- in clinic, it must be based on consumer demand. People must just be going elsewhere. read more
