After getting groceries at FreshCo the Saturday before Easter, I dropped by this SDM. Over a decade ago, when FreshCo was a Sobeys, I would visit this SDM more often. I stopped going to Sobeys when it shuttered for good and my visits to this drugstore ended. I parked steps away from the main entrance and walked in. There was a lot of free parking. I hit the shampoo and hair products aisle first. There were many discounted products. I was happy. The vitamins section is exactly where you'd expect it to be. It's at the back, on the right side. It was decent. There was a lot of Easter chocolates, candies, and plushies. This store had massive Squishmallows. It made me happy seeing them. I used the self-checkout to pay for my handful of items. There was only one human cashier and the lineup was long. It took no time for me to scan my items, pay, and leave. I have missed shopping here. I got everything that I needed. It was nice returning after over a decade. Here's hoping that it doesn't take me another decade to stop by and shop. (151)

Since it is in the same plaza as Sobeys, I ended up coming here sometimes.. but always disappointed. my experience with this SDM today left me in a rage. I…read moredropped off a prescription and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I then did some shopping & at check-out was tied up for 15 minutes because I was charged 9.50 for beef jerky that I didn't buy. This took a very long time to resolve, because apparently they have to find the exact product in the store to reverse the charge (which got in the bill god knows how) and 3 clerks were involved in trying to fix it, while a line-up of shoppers waited. Finally got resolved and headed back to the pharmacy, as 25 minutes had elapsed. Was told the prescription wouldn't be ready for another 5. Then the pharmacist Mary came to tell me that the government refused it, because I came in 10 days early. Why they could not have told me sooner I don't know. I plan to move my business but fear that other SDMs might be just as bad.

It's located in a plaza with a No Frills. There was plenty of parking. I backed into a spot and walked over to the store. It's clean and spacious. Its layout is similar to fairly modern SDM stores. There was a lonely Squishmallows hanging out with Ty plushies. It was a nice find, but I wish that there were more Squishmallows! This store had a good selection of Grogu items. It made me happy. I ended up getting some Diet Coke, ibuprofen, a bottle of roasted peanuts, and a small bottle of Crystal Pepsi. The last item wasn't on my radar. It occurred to me that I've never had it before, likely because it's supposed to taste like regular Pepsi and I know what that tastes like. I got it to say that I've had it! I went through the self-checkout. It was straightforward and easy. I had my PC Optimum barcode scanned from my phone and paid with a debit card. The transaction completed without a hitch. I didn't bother getting a plastic bag. I carried my items to my car and fetched a reusable bag from my car's trunk. I liked visiting this SDM. If I'm in the area again, I'd drop by. It had everything that I needed and more. (368)

I have only visited this store in Mississauga a few times. I didn't realize that STC had one, so I dropped by to check it out. This store has a lot of cute and practical Japanese and Korean merchandise. It appealed to me. I especially like when you get a product that is both cute and practical. For instance, you could get Angie the booklight. Angie happens to be a purple anglerfish that allows you to read in darker areas. I also liked a bacon mousepad. It was adorable! There were beauty products, such as eyeshadow, hairbands, and facial masks. The prices were pretty good considering the assortment of shades that you got in the former. The selection of hairbands was limited. The facial mask varieties were excellent. This store had a lot of plushies. You can get boba ones in a variety of colours. They were cute and sweet. It also had the cutest PopSockets. The characters on them were rather large, so it may not appeal to everyone. I ended up getting a purple boba tumbler that was heavily discounted. The fact that it had a diamond-cut lid and was purple drew me in to buying it. The price was also right. I had a friendly woman at the checkout. She advised that sale items were final, so exchanges or refunds weren't allowed. I understood this policy, as I had checked that my tumbler was in good shape before I committed to buying it. I paid with a debit card. All went well. My tumbler is pretty cool. It's cute and it keeps cold drinks cold for many hours. I enjoyed shopping at this store. It's deadly if you like cute, practical items. I may need to return and get that bacon mousepad because it's so adorable. (344)
