Horrible Store Experience!!! Reached out to Chicos Customer Service and the company doesn't seem to…read morecare!!!! (See photos of email exchange) Think twice about shopping and spending your money here. Below is email I sent to customer service: Good afternoon, I am reaching out in regarding my experience at a store visit yesterday. I visited the Daniels Road Store in Winter Garden, Florida around 12:45 pm. It was my first time shopping at Chicos as I usually shop at the Gap, Banana Republic, or Boden. I came across Chicos online and on social media and found the store to be close to my home. After recently losing weight I've been looking to replace my too large wardrobe and found Chicos to be my best option to go try on vs. online ordering bc I was unsure of my current size. I looked online and had about 15-20 items I was going to purchase in store. I was also going to purchase panties, bras, and sleepwear in store once I had confirmed my sizes. I was excited. Until I actually got to the store. Upon entering there were people shopping and multiple employees. My daughter and I were not greeted by anyone. We looked around and I picked up a few pairs of bottoms and a few tops in multiple sizes so that I'd be able to determine my size before trying on all the items I was planning to purchase in my correct size. We walked around the store and still no one helped us or greeted us. The employees were actually having personal conversations and watching us as we browsed. Since no one offered to help, I located the fitting room and my daughter found a chair to sit on while I tried on the items. There was an employee in the fitting room and told me I could go into the open door. I tried on my clothes and continued to hear the employees talking. At no point did any employee check on me while trying on. The employees watched my daughter as she was sitting on the chair waiting for me to try the clothes on and it made her incredibly uncomfortable. The jeans that I had brought into the fitting room were too large so I had to get dressed, go back to the racks, and find the smaller size myself. At no point during any of this did anyone offer to help as they watched me going through the racks to locate my size. I tried the other pair on and was excited that they fit but growing frustrated with the experience and lack of customer service. Since no one had still come back to check on me or helped me in any way I decided that I wasn't going to spend upwards of 1K in a store that wasn't willing to help me or provide any customer service. I don't know why I had this experience at this store and can only speculate. I haven't ever experienced a complete lack of customer service like this. It was almost as if the employees didn't think I could afford to shop there so no one was willing to help me or they thought I was going to steal something. Unfortunately, if either of those was the case, their assumption was wrong and your company lost what would have been a loyal customer and free advertising by an influencer/top 10% Google guide. My negative experience will be what I share with others because it was terrible. I hope my experience can be used as a training tool and that customer service at the Daniels Road location can be improved because I can only imagine the revenue that Chicos is losing if others are treated this way when shopping in your stores. Thank you for your time,

so I do love Chico's clothing, but time and time again I have a terrible customer service…read moreexperience in this particular location in Wintergarden Village Wintergarden, Florida. My experience today was the worst. I simply needed to find where a pair of pants was in the store that was on a mannequin as you entered the store. After approximately 10 to 15 minutes of walking around and seeing if I could find it myself, I went up to the front registers where the two women working there we're going on and on about how they were the only two in the store today they seemed very disgruntled. I waited patiently for approximately 15 minutes while other customers were checking out, however both of them had extremely long ridiculous discount situations going on and after being extremely frustrated I finally said "OK. I am walking out" and I said all I have is a question and nobody would help me so this will be the last time I walk out I won't be going back.

I had to stop by today to do a return of a few T-shirts that I ordered online but weren't delivered…read moreuntil after my trip so I no longer needed them. I browsed around after my return and found a few cute Pilates outfits which was a bonus. They were on sale for an extra 30% off so I got three outfits for under $55. Also found a cute pair of high top sneakers. They were also 30% off and under $15. As far as other tire goes, the styles are definitely not for middle-aged women. They have a few cute skirts and T-shirts but aside from that it's mostly aimed for college age girls hence the name. Quality of the items are definitely not the best but you get what you pay for. I appreciate a good sale, but you definitely have to weed through defined what you're looking for. They have quite a few basics available for reasonable price, which I appreciate. The thing I do love about this store and the reason for the lower rating is that the checkout is always lengthy. I got there right around opening so they were busy doing other things, but this is not been the first time it's taken a good 10 to 15 minutes to get through the checkout line.

So I never have written even one negative review about any store or restaurant ever... but I was…read moremade to feel super uncomfy while at this location... after some thought I have decided to write my first negative review in life. I can just go ahead and just hate myself later for it... I personally have loved going in to this location sporadically to see what they may have in store. Last week I was a bit silly and I purchased some active wear in store on Black Friday. After I brought all my shopping home, I noticed that I could've purchased the exact same items online for less than half the price.... I'm not crazy lol and I like deals, so I bought the items online that same day with the full intent of returning the activewear that I purchased in-store for a refund. When my online order arrived I noticed flaws in the active wear that I was sent. So I figured no biggie.. I can just bring all the items to the store and exchange the active wear from my online purchase for the in-store items... I figured they would help me out and be able to honor the prices since they were all the same items and were even purchased on the same day.... I brought the 6 items with me to the register and prior to even stating what I needed help with I thoroughly apologized for any confusion that my situation may cause.... then I asked for help with a return and then the exchange. The girl helping me seemed stressed/annoyed even prior to coming over to help... so I kept apologizing to her for the "confusing task," because I genuinely felt guilty and like I was a massive inconvenience.. Once everything was said and done i thanked her again for her time and her patience with the process. And of course as I was about to to leave the store I noticed a cute sweater. Me being me, I quickly went to go the shopping box off at my car and ran back in to check out the cute sweater that caught my eye. As I was on the other side of the store I heard them starting to talk about a guest... and then I realized the guest the team was complaining about was me. I felt so uncomfortable that I quickly left the store... unfortunately, the only way out was to walk past them while they were talking... so me being way too nice, as I walked by them I literally thanked them again for their time while wishing them a good night hoping they wouldn't think anything of me being there.... I for some reason was concerned about making them feel uncomfortable about talking bad about me...? After letting myself contemplate if exchanging the items was too much to ask for. I realized I was being dumb by trying to not upset the employees when they were literally talking badly about a customer (me) who was still in the store, while other customers were currently in the store. It was so rude and unprofessional... honestly if I was rude I would maybe understand... but I was overly nice when asking for help... honestly... even if a guest is rude to you, you should still never talk about a customer in-front of other guests and good lord at the very least please make sure that they are not still in the vicinity....
