I ordered a pool skimmer and a telescoping pole from them online. I received the skimmer, but not the pole. I contacted them via their website to find out the status on the missing pole. Scott, the manager, responded back that the skimmer and pole were two separate items, and that the skimmer didn't come with a pole. I sent him a copy of my order showing that I had indeed ordered the two separate items. I have yet to hear back from him on this. Hopefully this will be resolved, and I will be able to edit this review when it is. Update I received a refund for the missing pole. I am not sure why the pole was never sent, but I am glad to have my money returned. read more

This company seems to have gone out of business. I placed an order with them more than a month ago. They took my payment but I have not seen the product. I have called and left voice mails for their customer service now on four occasions with no call backs. I have sent 3 emails with no responses. I can only assume they took my money and are no longer in business. I would recommend you do not do business with this outfit as they lack principal and ethics. read more

I live off grid in the mountains of central WA state where it is pretty darned cold for quite a while. I heat an almost 3,000 s.f. home 99.9% with wood. Wish I had bought one of these years ago. It is a great little device and has really improved the uniformity of heat not only through the great room area but also into back bedrooms. The thermometer is also very useful. I was unable to mount it where they specify due to using double wall pipe but once you compare the reading achieved from installing it otherwise to what your infrared thermometer says, it is very useful. You can see it from across the room and so are not always getting up to use the infrared and also burning 9V batteries. I now use the infrared once or twice a week instead of several times a day. BUT even better than the fan itself was the incredible customer service provided by Shop Chimney. I received the fan on a Friday - had a little issue with it and sent an eMail to them on Friday evening figuring that MAYBE I'd hear form someone the coming week. I got an eMail from them on Sunday morning!!!!!! I described the issue and after several eMails back and forth they came up with a solution. Even though we now had the thing working normally they volunteered to send me another fan anyway. There was a bit of a delay due to an Amazon restocking lag and they updated me a couple times to let me know they had not forgotten about me and it was still coming. Which it in fact did. This is a level of customer service I have not been able to get from others (Like Williams Heating and Cooling - lol) on items coasting 10 times as much. Bought online through Amazon. Was nervous buying a stove sight unseen from someone hundreds of miles away but I could not be happier. Stove and surround at the lowest price ANYWHERE (I shopped it for weeks). Service was so fast it arrived a week earl and the delivary driver arrived with a smile on his face after driving a mile and a half down a steep dirt road. It was packaged so well on a plywood pallet. I have been referring anyone I know who needs a stove. read more
