They have both indoor and outdoor ranges (including shorter range shooting with concrete walls so you have your own space), and a whole cowboy action setup. I really like the walled section myself. Everyone who is here is nice and courteous, and I've never seen anyone get rowdy or break any of the rules. Rules are respected here, as they should be. The grounds are kept up, and they seem to be expanding more and more (like the cowboy action setup). If you are into target shooting and are looking for a regular place to put holes in something, this is a great spot!

But of course it's fairly easy to be insulted at Davenport guns, just speak with the owner. She's vulgar, rude, condescending and just plain unprofessional. She has two little dogs that run around and bark and nip at everybody's heels. She just shoo's them away and it happens with the next person that walks in. It kind of smells like dog droppings in certain areas where you can tell they didn't clean it up very well. The indoor range ventilation system is hot garbage. If just a couple people are using the range at the same time it gets so smoky and full of lead dust that it's a real health hazard. The lighting on the range is borderline dangerous. They may as well just have a couple light bulbs dangling from a string. Hopefully this place is gone soon and something much better will take its place.

When I picked it up they couldn't find my second magazine at first, and then they "found it" and put it all in a box before I really looked at it. When I got it home I realized that only one magazine was the right one. Fine. So I called them and talked to John (I believe) and he told me that they'd figure something out to make it right and that they'd call me back. I said fine, and when I come in to pick up the right mag I'll bring this other one back with me. Waited a week and NEVER got a call back. So I call them again. Talked to someone else who took my name and number AGAIN and said that I'd be getting a call back. And lo and behold: NOTHING. this has been at least a month ago. So I've given up hope on them following through with their word, and will NEVER give them a single cent of mine ever again. Pretty sad.
