But of course it's fairly easy to be insulted at Davenport guns, just speak with the owner. She's vulgar, rude, condescending and just plain unprofessional. She has two little dogs that run around and bark and nip at everybody's heels. She just shoo's them away and it happens with the next person that walks in. It kind of smells like dog droppings in certain areas where you can tell they didn't clean it up very well. The indoor range ventilation system is hot garbage. If just a couple people are using the range at the same time it gets so smoky and full of lead dust that it's a real health hazard. The lighting on the range is borderline dangerous. They may as well just have a couple light bulbs dangling from a string. Hopefully this place is gone soon and something much better will take its place.

I knew they didn't allow steel cased 762x39 ammo so I bought Federal brass…read more(pricey) ammo. while I was renting a lane the owner come around and told me that I couldn't shoot the Federal brass ammo I brought and he will only let me shoot ammo I buy from them. I tried to show them the ammo but he hit me with " im the owner and you cant shoot that" I was with my wife so i didnt want to make it into a big deal and I really wanted to try out my new rifle so I went ahead and bought his ammo which was the cheapest of brass ammo (Belum) but at a premium price. Oh, he even made me leave all the ammo I brought at the front desk. I wish I would of just walked out.... an employee later told me that he would of let me use the ammo I brought if the owner wasn't there. Everything else was fine but it made it really pricey. For 1 time shooting it was the same price as a year membership at Darnells.
