Customer service was awful! While they were busy, at one point there was only two guys at the counter and the shorter guy was helping somebody and the other bearded guy was simply dilly dallying for a few minutes instead of asking how he could help me or help me get checked in .. there was about six or seven people in line waiting their turn to actually go in and I could hear them complaining about how long they had been waiting... Nobody ever asked me if there's anything they could do to help me and so I ultimately just left and went to a different shooting range. read more

My 18yo daughter and I signed up for the Ladies class. Neither one of us had ever shot a gun before. We were very excited to learn the basics. We lost my 4yo son 7 moths prior to an overnight epileptic seizure. After several months of not really leaving the house, I was trying to pick myself back up and find a way forward. I wanted to try new things because "old things" carried memories. Our instructor, Tyler, was amazing. He made everyone feel very comfortable. We were all having a great time. The moment the first actual round was fired (not even by me) everything changed for me. I was immediately overwhelmed. Common for me these days. I thought I would be fine because of the headphones. I knew that my tolerance for basically anything is low as I navigate intense grief. I thought I could push through. Instead I went into an embarrassing panic attack. Tyler was so calm and understanding. He had no idea what I was really going through but he was still so compassionate. I still got myself to fire one round before my daughter excused us from the class. I knew id be so mad at myself if I didn't fire at least once. I don't know if I could ever show my face there again but it was an absolutely incredible place with phenomenal staff. read more

Full Disclosure I did not visit this store. I purchased items on their e-commerce site that after an exhaustive search I was not able to find anywhere else in the USA. I received an email stating my order was being "processed". A day goes by and I get no further updates or emails so I call them and the website guy I get on the phone says the same thing "being processed" which does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling, but he did say the DC would be sending my parts in a couple of days. Well today my package arrived on my porch with all the incredibly hard to find items inside. One of these days I am going to make the 4.5 hour drive across the state as I now live in Palm Coast just to patronize this store and spend some more of my hard earned money with them because they did exactly what they said they could and would do. read more

Called to see if they had a part available the week before Christmas per their request as the item I needed was previously sold out. As I called them the Friday of the week before Christmas, they indicated that they would no longer be selling the item I needed and that was that. I proceeded to call every gun store in the Swfl area to see if by any chance- anyone carried this item and I could pick it up before I had to special order it. I had conveyed to my boyfriend that I didn't know if I was going to even find the gift and that It may come after Christmas if I did find one. Unfortunately- I had to special order this item and thankfully was coming from Gainesville Florida so I at least received it on time. I ordered the gift from Big Daddy Unlimited. Not only they were super helpful when I called to see when the item would get to me. It was even cheaper with shipping due to their holiday sales. I will be ordering with them now for all our gun needs. As my boyfriend is scrolling through Instagram-he points out to me that they have listed a photo with a shelf full of the items on their feed. (Local Instagram at that) I would have gladly have given Shoot Center $350.00 for the convenience of picking it up locally and to avoid the holiday stress. Hard to beat indoor range of SWFL! I've been going here since about July or August of 2021 and this place is special. They always got good deals going on, lots of options and products. They got a whole wall of machine guns you can shoot. It's a big range too they go out to 30 yards. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TAKES RETRIBUTION AGAINST CUSTOMERS Ordered a firearm via auction. They said they put in the mail Sat. Come Wednesday there are no updates to shipping so I email them to inquire about it. I'm told they'll look into it and get back to me. Thursday, the next day, after having not heard from them, I email them again. I'm told they'll look into it and get back to me. Friday, the next day, after having not heard from them, I call and leave a voicemail that goes unreturned. Saturday, the next day, after having not heard from them, I call and finally get in touch with a manager who verifies Shootcenter made NO attempts to inquire into the status of my shipment and asked that I wait until Monday. What??? I had to encourage him to reach out to the shipper himself. I'm disappointed, I wait until Monday. My firearm arrives. It's slightly different than what was sold via auction. Not awesome. It's not a huge problem so I inquire about some type of exchange. In short, they say no but OFFER a refund. I inquired if they would cover FFL transfer fees, they would not. Problem was small, I did not want to be out $40 and wait weeks for this process to play out so I did not accept it. What a way to treat your customers! Blow them off and when they voice their dissatisfaction online, hide behind your "inspection policy" which may hold up in court but not in the court of public opinion. Was traveling down to Southwest Florida for the New Year and decided to get in some shooting instruction. I've been shooting for a while but have developed some bad habits that was causing my marksmanship to tank. Troy, the director of instruction there took really good care of me, diagnosed my problems and got me on a good course of collective drills and exercises I could take back with me. Met one of their instructors named Black Yoda (really!) The guy is 100% legit, like a Jedi with a pistol. Gave me more ins and outs of my mechanics and pointed out some things I would've never of noticed on my own. Great facility, great staff! And they even heard 9 mm ammo for sale when I was there although I watch the 40,000 rounds they had for sale diminish quickly!!! I'll definitely go back there again when in town. read more

This place is fantastic. The staff is so patience and have answered all my newbie questions kindly and patiently even though I'm sure it's annoying. I took my CCL class with them as well. Jon the instruction is an expert in his field. So much experience and insight to offer. I also took a private lesson with Jon this past weekend. Truly great experience. I learned so much in just an hour and my shooting has already improved. Every time I've done business or used the range here. I'm always welcomed with a smile and there's always a sense of belonging when you come in. The staff are more than well qualified but are also hospitable. They offer many great deals and have a wide variety of options. I haven't tried some of the classes yet. But they do truly care about each person that walks through that door. I hope for this to be continued as I've started going here instead of the Alamo range in Naples. Very knowledgeable staff at the range too. They will even help you correct your shooting posture and demonstrate better learning experiences from what I've experienced and gathered. The deals are sometimes unheard of. So definitely check them out. You also don't need to be a country club member either to use the range at its full potential. I do implore or any new or younger person out there to please be safe and responsible with equipment you know nothing about. The staff are always helpful to the full extent. Was ripped off at this location Went in as a first time weapon buyer Purchased a SAR USA 9mm Told them I needed some help with understanding and safe handling of this weapon as it is my first. Was told no problem and to shop around while they did the background check. Purchased some target ammo and a ammunition box. As soon as I was cleared by the background check I was handed everything and kinda shown the door. This is a brand new facility in Cape Coral, Florida. I visited on a Saturday, and was able to get there early, right when they opened. I was greeted by Aaron Forum, one of the owners who also served in the Special Forces for 10+ years (Green Beret). We had a few words, and then I went in to check out the facility and go into the range. The entire facility is amazing. Its very clean and organized, bright and a lot of staff to assist as needed. I made my way over to the range sign-in area, filled out some paperwork, and within a few minutes, I was assigned a range lane and on my way in. As soon as I got through the first door of the range, I noticed the attention to detail and the level of quality going into the range itself. Very heavy door with a lot of sound proofing, and the second door to the range doesnt open until the first door is closed (like a man trap). There are 15 lanes (2 different rooms). Inside the range I noticed it had a lot of insulation and sound proofing, the lane separators also very thick and heavily insulated. Each lane had additional shelf under the main counter for supplies, also individually controlled lighting and target contol. Also, something I didnt know, each lane rental comes with a target which I thought was cool. It was already setup and ready to go. Also, from watching some of the build videos, I knew that the range had state-of-the-art air filtration system. This is very important when going to a range. Once I started shooting, I immediately noticed the sound quality due to the insulation. I even noticed it more when another patron came in and was in the lane next to me with a rifle. I barely noticed it. The sound was very different than other ranges I have been too. I felt very comfortable shooting here. The staff and safety officer inside the range was extremely helpful too. I was very impressed. Overall, I had a great experience coming to Shoot Center. I live about 2 hours away, but do travel to the west coast to visit family, and will definitely make Shoot Center a stop on my visits, as well as for some special events they have planned. Very well thought out facility with great staff and friendly atmosphere. You should definitely check this place out if you are looking for any gear, need education or training, or just looking for some range time. read more

The range is very good , great ventilation, it's probably the only range you can shoot as fast as you can (as long as you hit the paper ) around . They always find an answer to any questions you have, one very good thing is that there is always someone in the shooting range keeping things safe . I just moved to Cape Coral today from across the state so I figured why not stop in and check out my options for gun stores. I walk in with my girlfriend to just look around and we were greeted with friendly employees just looking to give you the best experience possible. In just a few months we spent about $5,000.00 on guns and accessories in this store. They were very nice and helpful while you were spending your money. Helpfulness stops there. We bought three handbags there and after getting them home we noticed that the stitching on one of the bags was coming loose. We took it back in to exchange it for another. It was less than a week later and with the original sales slip. We were told they do not make exchanges or refunds and we need to go onto the website of the manufacturer and see if they will stand behind there product. Because they do not. So ladies, do not purchase a bag from them. At least Ebay will stand behind your purchase. read more

Went here for the first time today. I was actually pretty nervous because I had never held a handgun let alone shot one. So you can imagine my feelings as a woman with shotguns and rifles and beyond around me. The gentleman that helped my husband and I was very helpful. I enjoyed my time at the range most of the staff where great, welcoming and knowledgeable, perfect for a British person on his vacation. The location is good, facilities fantastic, very, very clean, safe, well ventilated the works. Why a low score then? I used 4 pistols which are part of a range package where if you shoot more than three pistols you only pay a maximum $29.99 instead of $9.99 each rental. So why was I charged an extra $24.99? I called an queried this charge, I found out one of the pistols I used was a premium pistol and charged differently, why was I not informed at the time especially as this pistol was highly recommend by one of the staff? I was told on the phone sorry that this happened, but no offer to put this right. I am so annoyed which is a crying shame as it has tarnished a really good experience, and yes it's only $24.99 but it's a principal thing, was I missed sold as I was a tourist (a quick buck to be made) or was it a genuine mistake and some staff training. I will never know. So here is my review for all the tourists wishing to visit, I know you get a lot because 50% of the shooters there during the 2 hours I was on site where none residents. It's a great place, reasonable prices just check what you are buying and don't get caught up in the moment and pay more than you should. Be warned. And for the shop owner maybe have different colour tabs so us tourists can easily see different priced pistols as all the pistols share the same cabinet and your website does not state speciality pistols charged separately. read more

They definitely lost about a dozen customers due to their nonsense and their lack of caring. So I came to shoot center the first time Jan 4 for a CCW class and have been back many times. The class was great and the trainer Troy was excellent, making sure we had some interaction in what could have been boring. Great job! So after the class, as we were looking at the firearms, they were not pushy at all like some other places and gave great advice- even to the point of telling us not to buy yet and think it over, take our time. Because of this first class and Troy's attitude, we decided not only to come back and spend our money there buying multiple firearms, but also to sign up for range and have been there literally every weekend since to practice. We have brought four different friends and all say the same thing- both on the sales floor and in the range, they are considerate, helpful, and understanding. I made a pretty significant (to my own assessment) mistake in the range and instead of being berated, I was quickly corrected by staff and talked to like an adult. Making mistakes can be embarrassing, but how it was handled not only helped me remember the rules but has made me a safer gun owner. Shoot Center is a perfect place for a beginner and for an expert. Granted, there are always certain individuals that can be a little dismissive but when you look at the whole group, it's an amazing place and we will definitely be going back. The prices can be a tad higher than others, but because of the instructor and the staff, it's worth it to our household. My only gripe, which is not a dealbreaker, is that checking in and out of the range can be a little haphazard even when it's not that busy. Overall, Thank you for a great experience! read more

Worst range I've ever been to range officer was terrible. Range officer was nitpicking and charging us for every little mistake $50 at a time even with the new shooters that were with us.
