The crew at Anderson's was super helpful and knowledgeable on two separate occasions. They sold me some shrimp and fiddler crab and told me a great spot on Sanibel to fish, and I landed fish both trips. The place has tons of product for beginners all the way to the fishing guide. Love this hidden gem. Definitely recommend Anderson's Bait and tackle. Sorry for the rookie fish pictures but you get the idea of what I caught. Go in and ask them where the fish are biting they definitely know. Thanks guys.

Other than some picnic tables and a port-a-potty, there aren't any services here. They do have signs posted that overnight trailer parking is not permitted (but maybe camper parking is?). There was another sign that there's a high bacteria level and wading is not recommended. Enjoy the park and being near the water! [Review 398 of 2025 - 2045 in Florida - 23960 overall]

Lee County Parks & Recreation took over responsibility of the North Shore Bridge Access from the State of Florida in August of 1987. A pier was added to the park in 2000 which was paid for with proceeds from the three cent bed tax imposed on short-term tourist stays in Lee County. The park is home to the Edison Sailing Center which offers sailing and power boat safety lessons here. Note that although North Shore Park has a beach, swimming is not permitted. Restroom facilities are port a potties. I enjoyed taking a walk on the trail that runs from the parking lot to the base of the bridge. You can get a stunning view of the river, especially at sunset.

Be prepared that the trip will be 2.5 hours each way so there is total 4 hours of fishing. Chase and Ryan were really good boat mates. Many of the people on board didn't want to unhook their own fish so they were working hard being only 2 mates for the entire boat. The captain was nice enough to show a younger boy the wheelhouse. They allowed us to use the shark poles which is very unlikely on a party boat which was very much enjoyed.

We spent 2 1/2 hours riding out, fished for an hour and a half, and rode back in another two hours. We stopped twice during the course of the trip. There was no rhyme or reason for the direct ride. We never checked any spots. Just a ride. I caught 2 - 9 inch fish and my cousin didn't catch a one. There were 10 people on the boat that holds 40+.That was a sign of a poorly operated charter. I believe approximately 8 fish were caught in total today. All 9 or 10 inch fish! The encounter today was spot on regarding other negative reviews. I've been on many charters over my 66 years. The Sea Trek was by far the very worst experience. Not sure how they remain.

My buddy and I were traveling down from Wisconsin and New York, Cpt. Paul was totally flexible about scheduling a time that worked for our flights arrivals. Gave us the go-ahead to bring some refreshments and a few cold ones out on our trip. He was right on time at the dock, he was even out before our scheduled time catching bait fish which we didn't have to waste time doing during our charter. Cpt Paul was super patient with some of our not so stellar casts and gave us plenty of insight to help with technique. When the fish weren't biting like we hoped for he moved us to different area's and found us action. All in all we had an incredible day catching tons of fish, laughing, catching up with one of my best friends that I don't get to see often. Cpt. Paul is a superb fishing guide, super knowledgeable (been in the area for a long time), and a great guy to spend the day with on your charter. Will go out of his way to make sure everyone is having a good time, comfortable and safe. I highly recommend Cpt. Paul and will for sure give him a call if we make it back down to the area again!! Thanks for the memories!
