I've been working out with Rattlesnake Mountain CrossFit for a couple of months, and have enjoyed…read moreit more than any other fitness class I've taken! The trainers are wonderful (I have mostly taken classes with Curtis, and he's really excellent!), the community of athletes is welcoming and supportive, the gym is immaculate, and the workouts are always challenging and never dull. I had never done CrossFit before coming here, and I was initially a little bit nervous. I thought it was mostly an activity for jocks who don't mind injuring themselves. Fortunately, my preconceptions did not apply at all to RMX! Curtis is really conscientious about getting us warmed up and ready for the workout every day, and emphasizes good form and injury prevention. We always practice key movements before the workout starts, and Curtis will check on you and help you perfect the movements as the workout progresses. That said, these are not easy workouts -- the jocks can certainly enjoy themselves here alongside the beginners! RMX is a wonderful gym, and I will be going back as often as I can. I have learned a lot about weightlifting, jumping rope, and managing my energy during long sets -- and I am already a little stronger than I was when I started. I can't recommend this gym highly enough!

My husband and I have been going every other day for over 6 months now & overall have had a great…read moreexperience. We always go at a time when there are the least people & are able to get our full workouts in. HOWEVER, since this summer program thing started, the hour we go is absolutely PACKED with high schoolers, and it stays that way all day - large majority of whom are just there to hang out with friends. (I see 1 out of maybe 30 kids actually there to focus and workout.) They sit on machines (hog them) on their phones, not working out. You ask them to work in, or how long they have left and they say they are using them and they "don't know". I have never seen one of them wipe down the equipment after using them & 90% of them are wearing pajamas and crocks. They come in groups of 3-5, are loud and obnoxious, on top of the above issues, and not one employee says anything to them. I saw the rules for the summer program and no one follows them. They enforce nothing here. What's the point of rules if no one enforces them? Anything goes here. We are fed up, as paying, consistent customers who can't even get a bench at the normal "low" time, or have to wait 20-40 mins to get a machine because every single high schooler is actually using it as a seat to play games on their phones. This is the WORST campaign I could imagine. Have a HS hour, or charge $5, or limit how many can be in the building at any given time-something other than a free for all. It's a total slap in the face to us who pay a membership to deal with this. We are looking at other options for gyms in the area and will cancel and not return. We enjoyed it just fine before this started and we will not spend the summer frustrated every time we want to go enjoy a workout.

Don't bother paying for a membership in the summer. They flood the gym with school kids that just…read moretake up gym space. I guess someone has to babysit the kids while school is out.
