Sitting in front of the hibachi grill I envied the chefs who must've had blowers keeping them cool, while I did not. Skip the sushi bar and find a nice table instead. The fantasy roll with roasted eel, spicy tuna and crunch was pleasant but overly sweeted by a raisin flavored sauce. Raw eel is so delicious I would have preferred it, sans dressing, but the preparation was pleasing if overly sweet for my tastes. The chicken hibachi with fried rice was excellent, lightly seasoned and the generous veggies made my meal. Overall it was a delightful dining experience that I would recommend to friends and family.

Now the veggie roll only had like a Avocado in it which it was plain but you can't complain for 3 dollars. The spring rolls were nice and crispy! It took about 8-10 mins for the chicken veggies hibachi to come out. But it was nice and hot and tasted great. I got it with rice but you can also choose noodles which is what I'll try next time I'm back for work In this city! Food was hot and fresh at pickup. That said, the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew weren't quite what I expected. They actually tasted pretty similar to each other -- mine (Pad Thai) leaned more peanut-forward and tamarind-heavy, his (Pad See Ew) was sweeter with more fish sauce. I'm used to a more orange-hued Pad Thai, but this version was darker, sweeter, and nuttier than I typically like. I did order it hot and gluten free -- appreciated that GF is an option on most dishes, or clearly labeled -- and there was some spice to it, though I could've handled more heat. The Pad See Ew was also very pale compared to the darker, soy-based sauce I'm used to at other spots. Mango sticky rice was the best part of the meal, though I prefer it with a thick coconut cream sauce on top so the rice isn't as dry -- the mango itself was great. Overall, it's fine if you just want to scratch a Thai food itch, but I've had better elsewhere and probably wouldn't go out of my way to order again.
