I was convinced by the sales person that I need a 9.5 even though my last Hoka's were a 9 (he looked it up). I purchased these on 5/29/25 and did not wear the shoes until our first day of vacation on 6/14/25. By the time I returned from shopping that day my feet were raw due to the excessive movement in the shoe as they are too big. I just got back from vacation on 6/22/25 and could not return the shoes before that time as I was out of town. When I called they said there was nothing they could do as far as a return since I was outside the 20 day return policy. Even though I was not in town to return them I asked...no, sorry, that is the policy. I will not be returning to Roberts and am now out of $150 for a pair of shoes that I cannot wear! So much for personalized service. After a 2nd call to Roberts and speaking to the person who sold me the shoes, they agreed to let me return my shoes and order me a new pair. I do have a pair of pro vans skate shoes, but vans range in quality at different stores. To be honest I am sure Import House is only carrying vans because they have become a fad within the past few years. Import House has a good selection of stretched ear jewelry ranging in sizes from very small at a 8 or 10 gauge all the way up to fractional inch sizes. They also carry some body jewelry. Included in their jewelry counter is locally customer made jewelry. Import House is Divided in half. One side with smoking accessories and the other side with mainly shoes clothes and jewelry.

To start with the fitting process - they wanted to put me back in the same brand shoe that I told…read morethem did not have enough arch support - also suggested an insert. I wanted shoes that fit- not made to fit with an insert. After several shoes that didn't give me the support I needed I had to make the suggestion of going to another brand of shoe. I purchased the shoes but after I got home I decided I really didn't like the color - which color choice was limited to 2 colors at the time of purchase. When returning the shoe I was told there is a 15.00$ restocking fee. This is ridiculous because they will literally just walk to the back room and put them on a shelf. When I asked them to waive this fee I was told the manager wasn't there and it couldn't be done. I was not told about this fee when I purchased the shoes - when I pointed that out I was directed to a small print poster located under the lip of the counter. The only way someone could even see this was to stand 5 feet away. Who stands 5 feet away from the counter when making a purchase? No one that I know. I was then told this fee is in place to protect the store in case someone would find the same shoe at a better price. Well, isn't that how commerce works? Maybe Robert's should be more competitive in their prices. Oh and also was offered a store credit but that was useless as I will never go there again.
