There is no other business in Chico that I would trust to repair shoes, boots, slippers, etc. Pat is an old school craftsman. I've seen other reviews who said he "didn't do what I wanted" but I've found that, as long as you clearly state what you want done, that is what you will get. Each time I've use his services he talked with me about what I specifically wanted done and then gave me the options. I've chosen what I considered the best options (not necessarily the cheapest options) and have been extremely satisfied with the results and the price.

Aside, after retrieving my two tote bags, I immediately began using the black tote bag for carrying purchased shopping items while the Gianni Versace shopping tote carried my personal items. Preface: Slavik, the owner of RSR, i.e., Roseville Shoe Repair replaced the main zipper for the Gianni Versace tote bag, re-sewed/reinforced the exterior seams, reinforced the interior silk compartment's lining seams, and replaced the interior tote's compartment zipper. In addition, Slavik replaced the black tote's warped, old zipper--replaced tote with a new zipper and sewed via attaching two new black leather tote handles due to the original handles were literally disintegrating. FYI and BTW: What are the reasons the inability throwing or recycling either tote bag away? Why waste money, energy, and time repairing two "worthless" tote bags, eh, Shirley? WELP . . . Because the Lancôme black tote bag was the tote bag my Mom gave me along with the largest Lancôme skin care and make-up collection in production for my birthday present seven years before she passed away, i.e., the black tote bag possesses tremendously endearing, sentimental value. Basically, I didn't really have to ask for basic common sense things like that. Where other companies didn't include those things as an option in our estimate, Isaac rightfully assumed we would want that and quoted it without me having to ask. A few other companies we had out and one who our insurance hired for the initial water excavation showed up randomly, had leaky hoses (thankfully just outside the bedroom window into the yard) and just didn't instill confidence for us. One company said they'd get back to us with an estimate in a few days and after several weeks they STILL hadn't. The other company had a pump that didn't work etc etc.. the list just went on and on. Let's just say this company is leaps and bounds above what little we got from other companies during our crisis situation. There's not much that's needed to beat out the competition in this area, but they definitely do! Answering the phone, showing up on time, being professional, being thorough, and doing a damn good job makes us extremely happy we found them. If you've got this kind of situation (which I hope we never have again) you need look no further than Isaac and his team. Isaac even went to bat for us with our insurance company.
