The new location is incredibly open and has massive amounts of natural light which makes the space feel inviting. The staff is always super helpful and made sure to take care of any questions that we had. The new location in combination with the shoe company aspect has changed what is offered in the store a little bit away from the straight running store aspect but there is no issue with that. The options are still nice with a consistent rotation of new items throughout the year.

I've only had them for a month and the inside of the boot is coming apart. Seam stitched too close to the edge. Stuff happens. Red Wing has a warranty. So no biggie. The lady tells me they are on back order and will be at least 10 days. I asked, can we check other stores and just get a pair. As these take me up to 10 minutes to get on due to trying to keep the fabric from bunching up that has ripped. She is like yea, you can go to Springfield and get them. I asked seriously. That's your fix? She then precedes to give me all kinds of attitude asking what my problem is and what I would do to fix it. I simply stated that I would contact the store immediately and try and get them shipped to this store. Simple. I'm right here. It would fix it. Not tell the customer to drive 90 miles. She was one of the most rude, non helping, individuals that I have dealt with. And yes, she is the manager. I called corporate to issue a complaint against her. I hope Red Wing follows through. Follow-up: Went back to get my boots, had a terrific customer experience with gentleman. I was putting my boots on, and the manager comes out. First thing she asks, is if I was ready to remove my review. I laughed it off, and stated not at this present time. She precedes to have a "discussion" with me about it for 6 1/2 minutes. It is smaller than the TJ Maxx's I frequent, but still plenty of great deals and merchandise. It's currently under renovation to expand the dressing rooms. I just noticed The Body Shop products in TJ Maxx this week. I am not sure if this is new to the chain or I am just now noticing it. I am not really a Body Shop girl, but for those who are - - might be some good deals. This location seemed to have an abundance of salon quality hair products - Matrix, Rusk, Big Sexy Hair, etc. Seriously, I use to by my products from the salon (years ago)...not a chance I would do that now. No reason to waste the money when you can find them so much cheaper at places like TJ Maxx and Marshall's. I wear Saucony Oasis tennis shoes. They were over $100 when I first bought them in a running store. For months now, I have found these same Saucony's in TJ Maxx for $34.99. Oh yah!. I have them in every color. I actually had not seen them in a bit, but luck was on my side and found a great pair of purple ones. Yep, another pair of cheap Oasis added to the collection. I also love unique stationery and cards. I found the cutest box of Chihuahua greeting cards. They weren't a great "deal" (but I am tight!), but I had to have them. I regularly shop at these similar types of stores (TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Gordman's, Ross) and this location had some quality stuff from cosmetics, shoes, clothing to housewares. I am rarely in Joplin, but if I am - I would certainly take the time to return to this location.
