I hate shoe shopping because they never have that style that you liked forever... and that's not the shops fault.... it's the shoe designer... ok so maybe the shops fault if they don't have it in stock or opted not to buy that shoe again but I'll never know... This place usually always has a pair that I always like, in my size, and can deal with and the price is usually on par w other shoe shops... I especially love when they have their deep discounts. We usually get two pair for us and two pair for the kiddo so we can get through the year fairly easy! I've been shopping for shoes here for years and have had a great experience every time! They carry all the name brands and have sales and buy one get one half off deals going on all the time which is great if you have multiple kids to buy shoes for. The employees are always friendly and helpful and it's conveniently located on 71st street next to many stores and restaurants. read more

The staff here were great but my god the store was a lose cannon. The Isles were so narrow to begin with plus all the people that were their I was saying excuse me every second. The variety of shoes were good mostly for children not the best place to find for pricey shoes. I didn't get anything while I was there. All in all this seems like a place for little kids and not for teens and adults. read more

This place deserves one star for many reasons. First, they have terrible customer service. We tried getting an issue resolved (after we called their customer service number and they told us we had to visit this store to get it fix), and they were not helpful. After calling their customer service number for almost a month, we finally got the issue resolved. Second, the store is unorganized and the have a very limited quantity of shoes in my opinion. I would rather buy shoes online from a different store than to visit this location or use this company. read more

Ok so i really like the fact that this place has name brand shoes. What im not a huge fan of is the prices for shoes i mean i know the old saying "you get what you pay for" but come on. To begin, i purchased 3 pairs of shoes, all of which at various times did the same thing, the sole split from the body of the shoe. I threw the first pair away but as the following two did the same thing in the first and 3rd wears i attempted to return those two. I contacted customer service as the online chat agent advised. I got an auto response back saying i would get a reply in 24 hours. this was on the 7th of oct. on the 11th i emailed again. still no response. on the 15th, again, which i finally received a response. they adv they had sent a return label.i never received it. i emailed back multiple times advising after having checked all folders there was no return label of any kind. after multiple days of this, "sent" "i have not receieved it" AT 3 DIFFERENT emails. and talking with customer service for far too long, they advised that i could return the shoes(heavy platforms) at my own cost, did not offer to cover any fees, refused to print and mail me a label, would not look into WHY the labels were failing to send(i am having no other email issues and have tested that thoroughly) . not only would i have to ship them, but bc i was unable to receive thier return label i would have to accept a fee due to something that was not my fault. all of this to say even after a supervisor (supposedly) reviewing all messages back and forth, was unable to offer anything to assist. i will be trashing the shoes, as it would be pointless to return 2 pairs of shoes that were 20 dollars each, and only receive 20 dollars back, after having gone though all of this trouble. im done. i will not be patronizing shoe carnival and i will strongly suggest those i know not do so either. which is sad bc i have LOVED them for years. but isnt that just how it is. years of great service can be screwed over by on s*** experience. Store is very poorly organized. Price on the shelf, when I picked out shoes for my 17 month old, was $29.99 and when I get to the counter it was $44.99. They wouldn't budge on the price even though the whole isle where I got his shoes had that price, it was for one specific color of the boys New Balance shoes. Poor form, for this location. read more

They have no control over the refund if the cashier decides to "cancel" the order before you decide if you want the shoes or not... waiting over 9 days for a check in the mail. Also, the manager is a creep... will start with "did you go to broken arrow?" Then everytime you come in to try to get the correct shoes, he attempts to make small talk about the beautiful sunset or weather... All i want is a pair of shoes for my daughter Not some creeper I can't even look at that gives me the "run for your life" kind of goosebumps. Plus managers from the website will call you while you are at work and never call back when you ask them to during your free hours.
